It’s an OK second choice
This was my second choice, my first choice was to buy an actual RV tumble dryer that could sit on my countertop and dry a small load of clothes. But I did not have enough money at the time..this portable clothes dryer is a great concept, but the legs are not strong enough to support everything at the top. Instead of it being a tripod they should have given it four legs, if one of the legs are weak then the whole thing collapses (very frustrating. I had to place it on a rug or something that will keep it still in order for the legs to stay in place and not slide.I would not recommend this item only because you spend a lot of time trying to keep the thing upright due to those weak legs. They don’t seem to fit all the way into the sockets. Maybe that’s just the one that I was sent, I don’t know what other people are saying about that but as soon as one leg is weak the whole structure just falls very frustrating. And that goes for baby clothes too! I washed a few baby pieces in it so I know it’s the legs because baby clothes are very light weight .I’m going to work with it until I am able to buy the other one. Once you get it working though I can say, it did dry my clothes within an hours time, Towels may take longer and I was afraid to burn out the motor so I’ve dried the towels for an hr or so, and then let them air dry the rest of the way. It is doing what I need for now it’s just that frustrating part I mentioned.

It works
It's very cheaply made but it does the job. Our washer and dryer went out recently and we got this as a temporary solution for the dryer. If I haven't gotten enough water out of the clothes I do usually have to run it a second time. I also bought wooden hangers because I wasn't sure how plastic ones would fair but turned out I didn't need to worry. I do also recommend getting fabric softener or your clothes will be very starchy.

I learned how to use this portable clothes dryer
I bought a previous clothes dryer that was similar to this one, COSTWAY Portable Clothes Dryer, but it wasn't ventless because it has holes above it to let the hot air escape. However, I was disappointed by the humidity that caused the portable dryer to be overcome by rust. The fungal rust stole the dryer from me, even though most of its parts were plastic. But, I learned to deal with it by killing the gangster fungus with bleach. Nonetheless, the renegade rust hid itself anywhere there was metal, which included the zipper. I stepped up the solution to reclaim my dryer from the thieving rust by spraying plastic paint on all metal parts. Then, I cut out the bottom of the plastic dryer so that when I hung my clothes to dry the water from the wet clothes would drip in a pail instead. I put all wet clothes to hang on one side to drip in the container. After they finished dripping, I spread them out using the hangers to dry naturally. I don't use the dryer until all clothes r naturally dried. This method uses less electricity, and I no longer have rust due to stagnant water that were always accumulated in the bottom of the dryer's bag, which caused the heater to rust inside and outside. For this reason, this new dryer didn't suffer the same demise as the old one which the heater I had to disable permanently. To keep the rust in the old dryer isolated, I imprisoned its heater in plastic and taped it all over because the heater holds the legs of the clothes dryer. So, I used the old dryer to hang wet clothes to dry naturally, and would use the new one to dry my clothes using the heater shortly to kill microbes. Thus, I nagged the fungal rust to extinction and not my daughter.

Flimsy but Efficient
This item is not as sturdy as a similar dryer of another brand I was replacing. I must say, though, it does get the job done. One time, a leg slid off and it toppled over while operating. Fortunately, I discovered it in time and the clothes were pretty much ready to be put away. It is easy to assemble and disassemble. Just make sure the legs are inserted properly and securely.

Apt. Size dryer.
ok after having it in use I have to change my review.. the base melted or warped the legs won’t stand straight it falls over so if u don’t balance the unbalanced it will fall not good fire safety issue.. on top of doesn’t blow hard enough to release wrinkles or lint. But at least it does dry the cloths . Mine came with a busted zipper too. So nobody inspected mine before they shipped it.

Wobbly and Didn’t Last
I originally had the Panda version of this dryer. Solid. Had it for 5 years before it died. Unfortunately, the Panda is no longer available. This Costway one wobbled from the start. But I knew that was likely going in. I read the reviews. I was warned. I took the risk. I lost. But not to worry, per the instructions it could be stabilized by screwing the base into my apartment floor. (Huh?!)No, I didn’t screw it into my floor. Sure it always precariously balanced like a short drunk guy about to pass out. Sure I had to hang the clothes to dry very gingerly or the dryer would collapse. But I’m a make-do kind of person. Fine.Trouble is, it died after 10 months of light use.I’m giving it a full two stars because 1) the manufacturer knew the dryer was unstable and provided those helpful screws, and 2) at least it lasted 10 months.

Sturdy and extremely efficient!
I don't normally write full reviews, but this little guy is amazing. Very easy to assemble and it fit perfectly in my closet. It works fast and it's very quiet. I turn it on and forget all about it and then when I remember, I take the hangers with the dry clothes from inside it and just put them next to it in the closet. Brilliant, totally worth the money.
