My laces always give up the ghost before my tennis shoes are actually kaput. I bought a set of laces for just that eventuality and needed to use them recently. However they were longer than I really wanted and the overhang is a little dangerous, a tripping hazard. These laces are the right length and are perfect. They fit the shoes correctly, the laces in and out of the holes and loops then tie into a perfect knot. They feel solid and I suspect will last until the shoes finally die. I purchased these to replace the original laces on my Keen hiking shoes which could not seem to have sufficient friction to stay tied. I replace laces on older shoes with laces from this company which seemed to work well so purchased a new pair.Well, they work better than the originals. Not 100% effective but at least I'm not stopping nearly as often to retie. They fit well and are long lasting, as evidenced by my prior set.

Nice Boot string tough enough for a Logger. I ordered these boot strings for my Nicks handmade logger boots. The boots came with leather strings and were just too stiff and would come untied to easily. So yes I put these strings on a pair of $600 boots. The strings are nice they look like they belong on a $600 pair of boots. They are tough as well. I use them running saws and working outdoors. The boots and strings are not just for show, they must perform and they do just that. Oh yeah and it is 2 pair...... The boots and these strings will last longer than I will.

Got these for my Adidas terrex shoes. The OEM laces continually came untied regardless of what I did. It was frustrating for a "hiking shoe" to continually untie.Found these and decided to give a try... So glad I did.These laces have "ridges" that run the entire length. These ridges somehow add friction and don't allow the leaves to untie unless they get caught on something. I was very impressed.I liked the performance of these so much, I got 2 other colors (I use the same shoe at work too).A super specific like is that this green and black lace couldn't be more perfectly matched for my green terrex shoes. This is how they should've come from Adidas.Great laces. Been using them almost daily for a while now and zero complaints.

I bought these when one of the OEM shoelaces broke on a pair of trail hikers (Shadow Mens Waterproof Softshell Walking Shoes from Mountain Warehouse), a relatively high-end product that one would expect to come equipped with reliable laces. Unfortunately, the OEM laces annoyed me for a long time, often coming untied in ordinary use, and I kept intending to find a replacement.When one of the OEM laces finally broke, I bought a $2 pair of laces from Walmart, but those were unbelievably terrible, very thin and flimsy despite being rounded cord and supposedly intended for athletic shoes, as well as being in an English standard size (54 inches) rather the correct metric standard size (140cm). That difference of slightly more than one inch may not seem like much, but the shorter English laces force a slightly tighter tie that becomes uncomfortable after a few hours. Going up to the next English size, 60 inches, would have been dangerous as it would risk snagging and tripping.The difference between these $4 laces (you do get two pairs) and the Walmart $2 laces is remarkable: solid and thick feel, non-slip woven coating, and noticeably better than the OEM laces — especially because these stay tied. If I had known good these laces are compared to the OEM laces, not to mention the Walmart laces, I would have bought them long before waiting until forced to do so when one of the OEM laces broke.

I ordered a 47” lace and they came in at 50.5”. They will work for my boots but I was really hoping for the perfect fit. I have used these same laces in the past and they hold up well and keep knots nice and tight due to the lace texture.

Al tacto se sienten como unas tiesas y a la vez suaves trenzas. Lucen bastante resistentes. Son gruesas, más que las agujetas originales de mis botas, pero parecen serlo un poco menos que lo que se ve en las fotos, lo cual es un alivio, pero la diferencia no es tan marcada como sucede con las fotos de agujetas de otras marcas, que definitivamente sí son un engaño.Se alargan un poco, así que al ponerlos en las botas hay que asegurarse de que ninguno de los extremos esté estirado, porque al final puede quedar un extremo mucho más largo que el otro.Me gustaron tanto que compré otro par.

The laces are really good but one of the points was not sealed correctly which was pretty annoying

I have a real trouble with laces as I have a condition which means I’m very sensitive to the way things feel such as shoes feeling loose. I need to have my work boots quite tight to feel comfortable but this means I go through laces quicker than normal. These laces are really strong, sturdy and are able to stretch which means they are nice and easy to pull in that little bit extra if I need it. Strongly recommend.
