Runs AC unit for camper
I tested this setup with four 10-amp batteries running a 1300-watt AC unit. On a hot day, I estimate it could run continuously for about 1.5 hours. My test, however, was conducted on a mild day, allowing the AC to cycle on and off as it reached the set temperature. After two hours, I ended the test, and the system still indicated approximately one hour of remaining runtime when the compressor was active. Would definitely recommend purchasing the duel fast charger I still have to as well but this product took 12 hours to charge my batteries back to full and they weren’t even dead so I’d give it around 13-15 hours on dead batteries.

EGO Power+ PST3040 3000W Nexus Portable Power Station Review
The EGO Power+ PST3040 3000W Nexus Portable Power Station is a versatile, gas-free generator alternative, perfect for both indoor and outdoor use. Powered by EGO’s 56V ARC Lithium batteries, this 3000W peak, 2000W continuous power station can efficiently run household appliances, power tools, and camping gear without emissions or noise. Featuring four USB ports and three 120V AC outlets, it supports multiple devices simultaneously, making it ideal for emergency backup, camping trips, job sites, and tailgating. The rugged yet portable design ensures durability, while the intuitive LCD display provides real-time power usage updates. Unlike traditional generators, the Nexus Power Station requires no gas, reducing maintenance and fuel costs. While battery life depends on usage and the number of connected batteries (sold separately), its clean, silent operation makes it an eco-friendly, high-performance power solution for any situation.

Worth it if you are invested in the ego line up
Let me start by saying I own tons of ego products and I’m a fan of the brand in general. This power station does deliver power as intended but has some drawbacks.1. The inability to solar charge without buying an adapter is unacceptable when almost every other station has it at this point2. If you only have smaller batteries to attach the station is very expensive on its on to not have a large amount of power3. The cost for station alone is very high considering most stations already come with a built in battery. It would have been cool to see ego give this thing an internal battery with the ability to add the additional batteries to it.Overall it is a cool product and makes use of the existing batteries you may already have but would not be worth it if you are not totally invested in the ego line up already.

EGO Nexus Power Station provides awesome peace of mind
I recently purchased the EGO Nexus Power Station after doing some critical research of portable gas (gasoline/propane) generators and battery powered inverters. The Power Station was a perfect fit for my particular situation. Storm related power outages of up to 24 hours are a reality in Hawaii, more an inconvenience than life threatening, altho we do have tsunamis and hurricanes from time to time. The Power Station can be safely used inside my home, none of the dangerous fumes that gas generators produce. It is quiet, even when the fans kicks in to help keep the system cool, unlike the loud gas motors of generators. It is super easy to use, just a push of a button and it’s ready to power, no hard pulling of a starter cord. No need to worry about gas, oil, spark plugs, just snap in the batteries, quick, clean and easy.I purchased 2 EGO 7.5 amp batteries to compliment the stock I already have to provide added emergency power. I tested the Power Station with just the two 7.5s and powered my 25 cubic inch fridge for over 4 hours using a little more than 25% of the available power of the batteries (Fridge compressor turned on 2 times). I also tested the portability of the Power Station, running a vacuum cleaner to clean out my car and powering a multitool to fix a broken sprinkler pipe outside my fence line. I also vacuumed the inside of my house and ran my computer for about an hour. Together, the fridge, vacuum, multitool and computer used around 50% of the available power of the 2 batteries. The Power Station w/ the 2 batteries weighed in at around 45 lbs. With its carry handles it was light enough for me to carry around the yard/house with no problems. The downside of the Power Station is charging the batteries during a blackout. But GOOD NEWS! EGO will be selling a solar charging adaptor later this month for around $150. The recommended solar panels for this charger sell for less than $100 on Amazon. This is a must have, must buy option for me!

Ego is a Go!
I have used Ego power equipment for almost ten years. I live in an area that has blackouts often, so I’ve used this many times now. It a GREAT unit! My only complaint is the fan to cool the inverter is a bit loud when it’s under higher loads, but that’s to be expected of any high air volume fan. The unit itself works beautifully! I have also used it running a table saw with two 7.5 Ah older batteries and had no issues! I’ve run it with four Ego 10Ah batteries from my riding mower and it’s lasted 18 hours with a 1.1 Kw refrigerator load running intermittently. I highly recommend this unit, it’s well designed like almost all other Ego equipment is.

EGO does not honor it’s warranty
I bought the EGO power station for one reason. I needed the solar power to recharge the batteries. I did not have access to electricity where I needed it. The solar charger in my unit DID NOT WORK when I opened the box. I called EGO TECH SUPPORT. I was told not to return it to Amazon and that they would fix it. They delayed doing any service so that after 90 days I would not be able to return it to Amazon. The unit has a 5 year warranty with EGO. It has now been 1 1/2 years and EGO technicians have done nothing. I have now spent over $2000 doing what EGO technicians told me to do. Two new solar panels, new attachment cables and more plus $1,499 for the unit and batteries. I filed a complaint about the service I received from EGO with Amazon. Amazon refunded my purchase.“I DO NOT TRUST EGO”
