Dokotoo Womens Comfy Drawstring Casual Elastic Waist Pocketed Shorts

First, I am not really a "shorts" person. However, living in SoCal, they are a summer necessity. These shorts are the perfect length and with elastic waist and pockets are super-comfy and flattering, too. Not dressy but not super casual, I find myself reaching for them on days I am gardening or running errands. I even wore them kayaking and they were perfect. I am going to order them in more colors.

I like the fit. Fabric isn’t as soft as it looks in the picture on the blue pair and they need ironing when dried in dryerbut the flowered pair I love it is soft and wrinkle free

I love these shorts. They are loose fitting, flattering and can be dressed up or down! The only issue I have had with them is that I think they shrunk in the dryer 🙃 they still fit, but aren't as loose as the they were prior to the dryer. Another note is they are more of a canvas like material than a cotton, which actually worked out better because they are super light weight. I plan on ordering more colors. If you are looking for a cute, light weight short this is probably it!

These shorts are a nice sturdy canvas material with no stretch but are cut weirdly long. And I don't mean the shorts length. Maybe they would work for someone with a long torso with thin thighs. It's a very straight leg cut giving them an odd fit. I found myself struggling where on my waist to wear them. I thought they had potential as a nice summer outfit, but I don't think they look that nice. They should have a little bit of flare in the legs in order to be more flattering. I'm surprised by all the influencers peddling these shorts, they are not a great addition to your summer wardrobe.

These shorts are Amazing, the material is perfect not too thin or thick. I purchased a Large and my hips are 42.5" and they fit like a glove, even with room to spare. I'm 5.0 feet.

In the photo, the shorts look super comfortable and flexible, plus considering they're marketed with 5% spandex I was blown away by how stiff, flimsy, and downright uncomfortable they were in person. Not only were they not at all what I was expecting, but because the shipping took a whopping two months to arrive I wound up buying a temporary $8 pair of shorts from Walmart...these shorts weren't even remotely comparable as the $8 pair is made with flexible and durable fabric whereas I paid $20 (+tax and shipping) to wait 2 months for a pair of shorts that could be outdone by an $8 pair from Walmart. Just because I feel it bears repeating, I waited TWO MONTHS for what I was expecting to be a good quality product. Not only that but when I went to return them, the shop charges for return shipping, so now I'm in the awkward position of debating between losing $5 (+ the shipping I already paid to ship them here) and waiting who knows how long to receive my partial refund or I can choose to keep them and be out the full $20+ and use them as a pair of sleep-shorts because I most certainly won't be wearing them outside of my house as the fabric makes it look like I'm wearing the worlds largest and most uncomfortable baby diaper. All in all, just don't waste your money or your time or this product, I know I won't make the same mistake again.

There was virtually no stretch to these shorts.I'm 5'5", 165# for reference. And color was A Gray. My ass isn't small but not huge. If it had been flat may have fit better but they fit tight in the rear and not in a flattering way as to enhance.While my thighs are proportionate for my size and weight, still the leg in front hit at an odd place on my thigh and when walking about in them, they kept sticking.Either shorter or longer length would have been better. I have found unless the fabric of a short is soft and has some give (so it doesn't stick but rather slides when walking) the 5" or11" inseam works best for me.SO, am returning these.If you have a flat ass and skinny thighs they may fit you better.Note the color as other reviews remark on the the fabric of different color/pattern choices. I found the fabric of this color to be rather stiff.In light of all the critiques as above, thought the price was too high for the quality.

Comfortable and look nice. They appear wrinkly out of the bag & you may think "cheap", but as soon as you put them on, they fill out nice and smooth. I like the material which seems more like a cotton/linen blend than anything else and that's a plus for me. I'm 5'2 and I wear 12-14 depending on how they are made and I opted for the X-Large. They fit great. Plus, you can cinch them tighter with the drawstring. I'm going to buy me a couple more pairs!
