Works great so far
Perfect fit for the Stihl FS250. Virtually the same as the original. Have used the item with the provided nylon line in heavy grass and the bump feed worked more smoothly than the 20-year old original.

FS 80
Works fine on my Stihl FS80. Seems like you have to bump it pretty hard to advance the string, but that's not all bad. Keeps it from coming out accidently.

Doesn’t fit, no returns accepted. Do not buy.
Do not order from this company, they will not accept returns. You’ll see many other one star reviews on here saying that the head does not fit their trimmer. Here’s another one. Despite my model being listed, this thing is not even close. When you go to return it, it tells you the company does not accept returns. Would have been nice knowing that beforehand. If you go through Amazon to start a return, you get repeatedly run around in circles, never getting anywhere. Garbage company, no customer service.

Stihl FS131
Works just as good as the OEM at a fraction of the cost. The only slight difference, which doesn’t affect fit, is the bump part sticks out a little further than the OEM, or my OEM original was just that far worn down.Installation is easy, there’s a small hole in the trimmers head (may be hidden and plugged with dirt and grass as in my picture), stick a small screwdriver in that hole, rotate the head by hand until you feel your screw driver catch. Unscrew the plastic head by hand, NOTE: It’s a “reverse thread”, meaning you turn it counter clockwise to loosen, clockwise to tighten. Hand tight is all you need, it tightens itself from the direction of its rotation. There’s a bolt head on the opposite side of the hole, its there so you can shoot some grease into the head. If you’re having to replace the part being reviewed its probably already past time to put some trimmer head grease in there. The couple reviews I read of people complaining this replacement “sticks” need to use a little common sense. The OEM ones could stick sometimes as well, the solution is simple. When you take it apart to wrap more string clean the dirt out of it for one thing. You can also take sand paper and smooth out around the bump mechanism and the inside of the hole on the outer cover, common sense, until it works smooth and freely.

Works Perfectly
I purchased this to replace my damaged head on my Stihl trimmer. Removing the old one and replacing with the new one was beyond easy and probably took a total of 3 minutes. Opening the unit up to refill trimmer was a bit stiff but opened up with a little extra pressure with a screw driver. I suspect over time this will loosen up as did the original equipment. Overall pleased with the replacement product and was pleased with the reasonable price.
