Another solid, reliable 3M product. "Super-Hold" is a bit of an exaggeration - this tape sticks better and more strongly than the regular Scotch Transparent tape, but it comes in a red box, not a red cape. It is definitely permanent; paper and cardboard will shred before this stuff peels off of it. It is fairly thin and very transparent, with a shiny high-gloss finish.Note that this finish is very different from the "Magic" Scotch Transparent tape (in the green package), which is thicker and has a frosted, matte surface. The two create will different effects on various materials.

This is the best tape super hold. Yes, it's a bit more expensive but it's definitely worth it. It's like a small version of high quality packing tape

And apparently, all Scotch Super-Hold Transparent Tape isn't created equal either. You see, I got the 10 rolls that are each 1,000 inches long, and the model number for this option is 700K10. Then there's an option for six rolls with the model number 700K6, and another option for 3 rolls with the model number 700K3. And each roll for all of those options is ¾ inches wide by 1,000 inches long and is individually boxed.This turned out to be confusing though, when I stumbled upon another 10 rolls of Scotch Super-Hold Transparent Tape that were also individually boxed, that costed a little more than these 10 boxes yet, their dimensions were ¾ inches wide by 800 inches long. And their model number was slightly different too, with it being 700S10. But while there wasn't a 3 pack option, there was a 6 pack option, and it's model number was 700S6. Strangely though, it's 6 pack option costed less than this 6 pack option (at the time of this review).Anyway, I don't know why there are 1,000 inch long rolls and 800 inch rolls of the same kind of Scotch tape. Perhaps it has something to do with certain tape dispensers only being able to hold certain sizes of tape. I don't know. But if you didn't know that before, then now you know, lol.And now you can ALSO know that, if you want to look for Scotch Super-Hold Transparent Tape rolls that are ¾ inches wide by 1,000 inches long? That the beginning of their model number is 700K, with the number after that being the number of rolls that you would want to search for.Or, if you want to look for Scotch Super-Hold Transparent Tape rolls that are ¾ inches wide by 800 inches long? That the beginning of their model number is 700S, with the number after that being the number of rolls that you would want to search for.

I use a ton of this tape. Its strong and sturdy- works really well. I am very happy with how well it adheres. It also appears to be somewhat if not totally waterproof. It has gotten wet multiple times and did not come unstuck. Thats a plus!

About 1/4th of the way through the roll all of a sudden it's like someone cut the roll. It's straight across so when you try to get it started again you lose 1/8th or more of it trying to get it where it's useful again. Very aggravating and as expensive as each roll is it's bad.
