More features than you can imagine for an amazing price!
This was much smaller than anticipated but I was not left disappointed!I need a small practice amp for home with a few nice effects and this exceeded expectations by far!The amp has more features than advertised. I didn't realise this had a wireless jack from guitar to amp - game changer! It connects via bluetooth to an app on your phone that you can edit and save the various presets, play your own music like a bluetooth speaker, jam tracks, drum loops - for more options there's a third party app that saves presets to your phone with more versatility. It's got standard Jack in, aux in and headphones out.It charges via USB C, however if you plug it into a PC, BONUS - it becomes a USB audio interface for the PC and your music software will pick it up as a device for input and output, allowing you to record and reproduce, maybe as a monitor device. This last 'hidden' feature is such a handy addition! The manufacturers website has a download link for ASIO drivers for this device to improve latency although it does work out of the box and windows installs and sets it up automatically. We're not getting world class audio here, it's got a big voice on it for such small speakers although it is a bit 'thin' sounding due to alack of body and light bass however it can produce some sparklingly lovely clean tones and some of the pedal effects, (phaser with right settings is gorgeously rich and retro). There are a whole host of amp type models and speaker cabinet types that I haven't delved into fully yet and It probably won't make much difference on the overall sounds if played using the speakers, however it may make a much bigger difference if you are using headphones or sending audio out to a bigger PA or amp.I've been playing for 25 years, My primary is a GIbson SG standard circa 1998. I've had marshall tsl JCM2000 100W head and cab, Laney 60W basics, a Marshall country and club 1979 and of course this cannot compete but for practice, plug in and go, no wires, portable, carry around the house with you, this is amazing!Well worth the money over something louder or more traditional, you won't be disappointed or feel something is missing (except maybe foot switch but that's a big ask). The additional features make this so handy for a variety of uses and situations that aren't even being advertised!Any level of player should grab one of these and just enjoy the heck out of it!

Great little unit!
Love this! Sounds great, really loud and really small! I wasn't expecting it to be so loud, in fact my only issue is that volume is either too low or a tiny bit too loud! I have been able to fine tune the volume with the app but it's still a bit jumpy at very low volume settings. All the sounds are great, dialled in a nice wet plexi tone for jamming over Satriani backing tracks within minutes!I've downloaded a few free backing track apps and they play perfectly over the Bluetooth. There is a 3rd party app with which you can store presets. NUX app you can only save them to the unit, not in the app. But in reality personally I have dialled in 4 tones and that is enough for me, if I wanted more I'd have brought a cheap MFX pedal.Wireless transmitter works fine, you do have to have the amp on to charge it which is slightly annoying but not a huge issue. I have also noticed some interference, signal cutting out a bit. Not sure if it's my WiFi or what but it's rare and doesn't really stop me playing. So yeah, for sub £150 I don't think you can get better. I guess the spark would be good at a bit more but it's massive compared to this and the fact that this is totally cable free is great! I can sit on the sofa and play, in the garden and play, I could even take it on the bus if I wanted too 😂 or maybe busk in the park. I could even download my own songs to my phone and gig with the amp at a push but there are much better solutions for that!

Superb!
As a bassist, I need options when I'm practicing at home as I doubt whether my neighbours would put up with my gig rig (the temptation to go loud would be too much). I have the NUX Mighty Plug which is a great little headphone amp but to be honest I was getting a bit fed up with wearing headphones for extended periods. On to this little brute, it's small and weighs about the same as a bag of sugar, the unit itself is well made, feels very sturdy and premium. I've only used the receiver a couple of times, that said, it works well and offers a quite reliable connection so far. Soundwise, the amp is an awesome bit of kit, don't expect volume but do expect a big full sound (with a bass), that might sound contradictory but it's the quality of sound that has really impressed not how loud it can go, in fact if you do try to crank it up it distorts, a lot, don't let that put you off though. The app is highly configurable, plenty of effects for the rock gods, drum loops and some basic backing tracks for everyone else. Don't expect blistering volume but do expect a really decent sound which is more than acceptable to other members of your household. Like it like it like it......
