Looks beautiful and feels soft
I used these carpet squares to replace the old carpet in my RV. It turned out great. There is an integrated cushion, about a quarter inch thick, which gives it a cushiony feel underfoot. The fibers are soft and feel wonderful. I bought the Iron Frost and it was an excellent neutral. On a couple of the squares, the plastic backing did stick to the cushion, but I just moved on to the next square. Some of them were not precisely the same size, but that did not bother me at all, because they did not need to precisely line up. The hardest part about the entire job was pulling up the old carpet and padding and all those staples. After I did that I painted latex Kilz on the entire plywood and OSB floor so it would kill any old stains or odors that persisted in there. After it dried, then I laid the carpet squares. It went down so fast and easy. I measured where I needed to make cuts, marked it on the back of the squares. I made sure all the arrows pointed in the same direction. I also drew arrows on the painted floor to help me remember which way to point the squares. When I trimmed a square and the arrow disappeared from the back of the square I quickly drew an arrow on there, so that if I needed to I could use that piece and the arrows would all be going in the same direction. I am extremely pleased with how it turned out. I will add pictures soon.

Rather disappointed.
What I thought I ordered was 2 packages of 10 8x8 carpet squares. What arrived was just 2 8x8 carpet squares. I may have read it wrong and that's possible But why on earth would I pay 6.99 each for just 2 8x8 carpet squares? It will not happen again. Either the description should be re-written or the old adage "fool me once, shame on me" applies to me. I will not be fooled twice. And no. I am not satisfied!

Not easy to install....
I wish I could give this a better review, but the install is just too much of a pain. I had a very difficult time butting the squares up to each other and keeping them gap free. The shag fibers are in the way. (1) it's almost impossible to see the padding underneath when placing the squares because the carpet fibers in the way. (2) Keeping the fibers out of the way is difficult. I used a hair brush which helped a lot, but I almost needed hairspray to keep the fibers out of the way. I tried techniques with rolling the square to be able to see better, etc. Nothing was easy at all. If the manufacturere could figure out a way to "tape" all the edges, which could be pulled off after install, that would be awesome. Anyway, the lines are pretty easy to see, but good enough for a bedroom. Doubt I will buy again to....

Good product with one significant flaw
I really wanted to give this product five stars. The quality is fine and the pieces are easy to cut if you have the proper tools. The tiles stuck quite well to my old hardwood floors. Yet as other reviewers have noted, the discrepancy in the size of the tiles is an issue. Warned by these reviews, before I started to lay any carpet I opened my sixteen boxes, measured every tile, and segregated them by size. Approximately 25% were true 18 inch squares. The rest were short on one side or the other, some slightly, others by over 1/8 inch. You can still achieve an excellent result, but the job is harder than it has to be. My recommendation is to use the "brick" pattern that is pictured on the box and to make sure that in any given row you are using exactly the same size tile.

Works great if installed correctly
This worked better than I thought it could. If you make sure to get all the tiles facing the right way, and are meticulous about keeping fiber out from in between the joints. You literally cannot see the seems. I was very impressed. Not sure how long they will last but my day 1 impressions are 10/10, I highly recommend these.

Wrong Size
Soft carpet. I bought this as a centerpiece for showing my rabbit, but they sent me the wrong size, way smaller than it was supposed to be.
