It works as described
I bought this because the radio in my car occasionally turned off due to a glitch and wouldn’t turn back on unless the car was turned off and restarted. The radio is really expensive and out of warranty so my choices were to buy another, have mine serviced or to do what I did here for a few bucks. I wired this button to the ignition on accessory wire behind the radio and when it freezes up I just press the button and when I let go it’s back on and I don’t have to stop and mess around with it. 5 stars.

Short lifespan
Was installed as an interrupt switch for a low amperage circuit and it quit working in less that a week. It’s hard to find normally closed switches that are decent quality and this is one of them that isn’t decent quality

NC Pushbutton Switch
Received fast service and good price from iPodCarParts on this relatively hard to find "normally closed" momentary switch. Installed as toaster cancel button - works/fits perfectly and greatly enhances appliance functionality.

NOT normally closed, like it says
I needed a "normally closed" momentary, which means the circuit is closed when the push button is at rest (power is applied), and when the button is pressed in, the circuit is open, or "broken" (power is interrupted). Basically, the opposite of how you'd normally want a push button to operate. Tests with a VOM told me this switch is just like any normal push-button (press in for "on", release for "off"). Will spend more than I paid for the price of the switch in effort to return. Will add to my drawer full of misrepresented items. Just disappointed the item nomenclature is incorrect.

Be gentle
I tried to bend the prongs outward a little bit so my wires weren't so close and the plastic broke. I will be buying the same button again though.

The reviews are accurate.
This is a normally closed button. That is the good part. I bought 4. They all work. The build quality from button to button varies. Some are VERY sensitive and will go on if you barely touch them. Others need to be pressed properly. OK product. The reviews are accurate.
