Helps keep me motivated
Great value for amount you get. I use these to test my ketone level to ensure I am on track. It is what helps keep me motivated and on track to see where I am at.

Update: accurate results !
UPDATE: it turns out my blood ketone meter that I was comparing these strips to was wildly inaccurate. I bought a second ketone meter to test and it aligns with the results of these strips! So they are reliable!!!Previous post: These don’t work. I kept seeing no color change on the strip. I thought that I just wasn’t in ketosis. I ended up getting a proper ketone meter and I was in ketosis after all ! And no, the strips hadn’t turned brown or gone bad yet.

Good Product
Hattie's work well and gives a good, clear reading for Keto dieters. It seems to lose potency rather quickly, though. But overall, it is a good value-based product

Confirmed: Hard Work and Will Power Paying Off
I've been fretting about whether or not I've hit ketosis because I struggle to hit the fat requirement for my stats. Carbs are no longer an issue and are pretty easy to limit. Protein has never been a problem, I like chicken as my side to steak. However, I grapple with getting enough fat because most of the foods offered as suggestions I can't stomach. I figured at best I was accomplishing a Modified Atkins diet. The preamble leads to this: I tested two strips to rule out any flukes and immediately the color changed to that glorious maroony pink. By the time I washed my hands and cleaned up my experiment the color had faded to the Large (80) color so either too much time had elapsed or I'm sitting on 8.0 and have some work to do. Either way this has fortified my resolve and I will forge ahead with the diet. I'm at that 5 - 10 sticky pounds point and my scale keeps toying with me. Publix and my scale agreed on my weight so perhaps I am fluctuating crazily from hour-to-hour. Anyway, this is the first time I've ever had to diet so I can only assume my metabolism has finally slowed down after 45 years. I used to get questions about my health because I tended to be underweight and folks assumed I had an eating disorder (ah, people, gotta love 'em). Additionally, I'm intermittently dieting, 24'ish hours between meals and I'm walking 2 miles @ 4.1 mph (< 14:10 per mile) every other day, then doing 20 - 30 min of calisthenics such as planks on the other days. I have to take it easy or my arthritis will rear up so this has been a frustrating balancing act. All that information is going somewhere - I'm not Just oversharing. :DI was ready to throw in the towel and cuddle up with a tub of 29 gram per 2/3 cup cookies 'n cream ice cream and call it a day. The same ice cream my husband eats half a tub of and hasn't gained a pound. That ice cream. Enter some other brand of ketone measuring sticks with good reviews but one review that stuck out. That reviewer said he was going back to Nurse Harry. Thank goodness for smart searches because Nurse Harry led me to Nurse Hatty, whom I can only guess this gentleman intended to laud. I read the reviews and there were some less-than-stellar opinions of the product. What convinced me was Hatty's responses. Always professional, always informative, and, when warranted, encouraging. She stands firmly by her product and I get the feeling she knows of what she speaks.I suppose this was more of a testimonial than a review, but there you have it.So, Hatty, if you're reading this - keep doing what you're doing - and thank you for putting out a product that's guaranteed. I hope to fit in my size 4 jeans by the 2nd week of March and your product has given me the confirmation I was needing.

Needs a bit of improvement
*update 2/14/25 I’ve learned that I’m keto adapted, so these don’t really work for me anymore. They do however work fine for my husband, so it’s not a case of whether or not they work at all. He’s not on a keto diet but does eat my cooking (usually breakfast and lunch) and does his own thing for lunch or when we eat out. I ordered a blood ketones meter, that’ll be how I proceed at testing. Eat your meat, fats and low to no carbs and you too can be a loser in a good way.Bought in December of 24. Color codes on box are way different than the darker ones on the back of the test strips, so it’s hard to know which of the code colors are the best for comparison and proper readings. These test strips don’t come out of the pen size hole very easily. The Ketosis accuracy may be off as the breath meter reads so differently. Shrugging my shoulders. I’m in ketosis so I’m not gonna worry. I’ve used various brands of test strips on and off for decades, I’m not pleased with the ones I’ve used this year at all. That’s why I bought a breath meter.
