FANTASTIC Brush Cutter with 20 Chainsaw Teeth
It took me 2½ years to get around to installing this (and the adapter for it) on my Troy-Bilt Power Head with weed eater attachment, but this Brush Cutter with 20 Chainsaw Teeth is FANTASTIC!!! It whizzed through everything I used it on, quickly and almost effortlessly. The weed eater attachment makes for a long reach and a somewhat balancing act, but the spindle is arched down to make leveling to the ground easy. The blade touched the dirt 3 times from the arm catching on vines and such, and that dulled it a bit, but it kept on cutting. My last cut was a fairly wide tree-like growth, cut very close to the dirt, and that dirt dulled it more, slowing down progress, but I made it through the full width by dragging the cut around and attacking from angles. This Brush Cutter comes with a sharpening file, which is easy to use, so It's ready again for next time.I highly recommend this Brush Cutter! You will NOT be sorry if you buy one!Note: The "Geelyda Gardening Machine Lawnmower Stihl Blade Adapter Attachment, Maintenance Washer Kit Replacement for Stihl String Trimmers Brush Cutter" I bought for it (I think as a "buy together" option) has an internal weed eater bumper mechanism cover and guard which fit and worked great, but that package was not designed for my Troy-Bilt. The locknut threads were to big, the blade hole adapter was too small, and the Brush Cutter did not fit on top in contact (a 1/16" to 3/32" gap). I had drill out the hole in a 1 inch washer to fit the spindle for a Brush Cutter hole adapter, drill out the hole in another washer to fit the spindle to use the washer as a spacer for good contact, and buy a lock washer that fit to securely attach the Brush Cutter, but all is good now.

A Dream on Kobalt 80v trimmer
Took nearly 2 years before my husband decided to try out as he was very skeptical. He installed it on a Kobalt 80 V trimmer, he was completely blown away. He was using an electric saw plus heavy duty lopers plus a hedge trimmer to cut our 9 foot hedges down to 4 feet. After installing this blade he was able to just use this to cut the hedges back in a quarter of the time. In addition, it worked on fine grass without getting bogged down. I will be using it around my trees to get the under brush cleared. He was even using it to trim low branches on our trees and it leveled hedges perfectly ( on step ladder).Warning! Make sure you use full protective (head and eye) gear as this spews sawdust out at high velocity.

Good but could be better
Works great but no way to replace teeth if the get damaged. Better off just using a saw blade. I use on a 40v straight shaft weed eater. Eats through small trees limbs etc.

Awesome Product, File is in Packaging!
Just got this blade this morning. A couple of things that I want to mention. First, I thought that we had been shorted the file as a number of others have mentioned. But then I noticed something metallic inside of the hinge of the package. Opened the plastic clamshell package further and there was the file, hidden inside the hinge. So it would be easy to miss if you didn’t look for it.Second, we have an Echo SRW 2501, a combination string trimmer and brush blade tool. As we measured it, the part onto which the blade would mount was 3/4”. But the blade arbor is 1”. So I also purchased an assortment of bushings to fill in the gap. Much to my surprise, the bushing that we needed to mount the blade to our Echo trimmer was right there in the package. Don’t think that it was mentioned anywhere in the description, but there it was. It allowed us to mount the blade solidly onto our trimmer. Will return the bushings that I purchased. As for the blade itself, my hubby has used it for only a short time, (too hot/humid to work out there today) but suffice it to say he was totally impressed. Was using it in overgrown areas with mostly grass, weeds and young buckthorn saplings. This blade cut through all this with ease. So no opinion yet on long term use, but seems very well made and can easily be sharpened when needed. What more could you ask for.One puzzling thing is the front of the package calls it a “9” Saw Chain Grass Blade”.The picture on the front of the package is all grass, like a lawn. On the back of the package, under the heading of “Warning!”, the second bullet point says “Blade is for cutting grass.” Then it says “Ideal for all brush cutting situations”. Why would you buy a blade with chainsaw teeth to just cut grass? The word “brush” implies small shrubs, small saplings, mixed weeds in with grass. It seems to me that the company wants to have both ways in case someone is injured cutting anything more than grass.Anyhow, after using it for only a short time, this blade seems awesome!

Not exactly as described
I received the blade but not the file set as shown in the description. The blade was good and as described, but I did not get the file. I sent an issue about this to the seller/Amazon, but no response.

Great product, need to be on a heavy duty head.
You will need a heavy duty trimmer head to put this on, but it is a beast when it comes to cutting through brush and small trees.
