Excellent main or backup camera for prosumer photography
I needed a second prosumer body to join my D750, and I jumped on this refurbished by NIKON opportunity - it came flawless. the D7200 was out of reach for a backup camera.Ironically I had a D7100 in the past, enjoyed it but sold it to buy my D750. To say that good things always come back somehow :)I buy a lot of refurbished items (camera and lenses) as long as they are certified by Nikon, and I have never had a problem with these.90% of my lenses are FX and they work perfectly with this body.I do not do sport or wildlife photography, so the buffer issue is not an issue for me. I liked that the menus, characteristics and body configuration between the 2 cameras are very similar. The only tips I would give the reader is to keep the ISO low. I forced myself to shoot below 800 ISO because noise will creep on very fast with these crop sensors. I use my D750 for low light situations. Also on a personal note, keep your right hand nails very short because the grip can become uncomfortable with long nails.

Not the best of deals
The seller should have disclosed in the description broken parts. Instead of spending more money to fix it I should have just returned it. Thumbs down

Better than expected
This turned out to be better than I could imagine. Got it in on time. The shutter count being 1721 was a surprise!I love the 2 slots for memory cards. I was surprised that a charger and battery had been thrown in, I had ordered a charger and 2 batteries, so now I have 3 batteries and a wall plug charger for 1 battery and a usb (2) battery charger.

Refurbished and Cameta Camera
After many reviews I decided to upgrade from my D3200 the D7100. I thought I would go the refurbished route because of the huge savings. I purchased from Cameta Camera and on the first shoot about 20 shots in had an issue with the camera. Called customer service and they offered a refund or replacement. Decided on the replacement and sent back my camera on Friday and by the next Thursday my new one had arrived. I work a lot of hours and don't get much play time, but so far after a few shoots the replacement has worked great. Cameta offers a one year warranty instead of 90 days on their refubs. Their customer service was awesome in handling this. Now as far as the D7100 goes, there's nothing I can say that online reviews haven't said. This is a FANTASTIC machine !!!!

Great camera, missing charger
The only reason I didn’t rate 5 stars is because it came without the charger block. Otherwise very happy!
