PLEASE NOTE: This cover is 18.5" wide. Therefore it will fit 18" openings or less. It is designed to sit directly on the floor and cover the hole. The notched opening is 8" long by 3" wide so it will slip past the pvc discharge pipe. These are made from blow molded plastic, and the surfaces may appear uneven, rough or scratched, but it is the design of this product. These are brand new from the manufacturer in the USA. Nice Replacement Cover
It turns out, my sump pump didn't have a cover when I purchased my home, so this was the perfect item! It seems durable and well-made. I like that it is lightweight and easy to install and remove.

Fit my sump
I have tried to find a 19 inch lid for a while. everything is 18". This lid dropped right in like it was bough with the sump pit. Would buy again.

You pay return shipping
This cover is made more for a specific sump pump pit. This cover fits INTO a 19 inch opening at the top of the pit. I wanted this cover to lie over my 16 inch wide pit, but it is not made for that. It does not have a flat bottom side, so it won't lay evenly over a pit hole. It would cost me $13.00 to return, which would be deducted from my purchase price, so I'll will just take the loss since I lose half the purchase price by returning. It's not a Amazon Prime ship. This is for 19 inch wide pit only.
