BlooColour Active Rim Block, 150 g, Bleach Triple

Nifty idea, this initially grabbed my attention as reminded me of my granny's toilet that as a youngster I couldn't figure out how she had dark blue water and no one else did, the truth rather disappointed me at the time lol. She swore by it though although at 10 I didn't really care, I've used a huge variety of toilet blocks, gels, etc with varying results. One thing I personally loathe is the fake, overpowering, gungy, uneven distribution and even one that stained the porcelain!This is great, a simple discreet fresh smelling that even kills germs as contains bleach without having the bleach smell, which I know cant even remotely smell of bleach as my hubby (bleach police) would immediately pull a face, complain and open so many windows, you have to put a coat on! Just have to keep on putting empty packets in neighbours bin, toilet doesn't need cleaning daily and really does gleam!

I love this toilet rim block. It is a fair affordable price. I find they help to keep the toilet clean. They seem to last for quite a few weeks too which is a bonus! Plus they make the colour of the toilet water blue. It has a nice clean smell to it. I will continue to keep repurchasing this one because I still have not found one that is better.

Very good always use this

Our water is really hard so limescale is a constant issue.This product won’t remove the need to clean your toilet, but it makes cleaning the loo more manageable. Also it looks fresh with the coloured water.We have four toilets to keep clean and I have found these to be really invaluable time wise. It is a cost to keep using them but I do want clean toilets and time is pressed. Verses paying a cleaner to come in and do it for me, this is my next best option. I find they keep the limescale at bay as long as I go round the loo’s quickly every few days with the toilet brush (which is actually impressive because before using these, I did the same thing with a spray of white vinegar or a toilet cleaner but the limescale would still build up). Then every 3 - 4 weeks it needs replacing (depending on how much it has been used) so that is my cue to do a more thorough clean.Cons; they are quite wide and so on two of my toilets (nothing fancy about them - standard toilets), the water does not flush completely across all the balls so they wear out unevenly.Also I personally don’t like the plastic casing being blue, I’d prefer it transparent so it was less obvious on the white toilet rim. Lastly it seems wasteful to keep binning the plastic. Surely it would be better to have the option to buy the balls to replace inside the cage (I know it’d be a bit of a manky job but I wear gloves to clean the loo anyways so no direct contact would be required).I read some reviews about staining. I do agree that they have left some blue stains on my toilet pans. Blue streaks are not as unsightly as brown limescale but even still, - bit of a shame.Finally, - I did feel concern over the use of chemicals down the toilet every flush. However, that is offset by the amount of product I was going through trying to keep on top of and remove the limescale. I’ve tried really hard with natural options but they have not always completely removed it, and often I’ve had to drain the pan down and really scrub them out. It is just so time consuming. Then I was using chemicals to try and finish the job so I was back to square one anyways. Even still, it’s not ideal - I’d much prefer it if the rim blocks could be made with less toxicity.
