Amazing power!!!
I got burned before with a cornwell stubby air impact. The thing was gutless and therefore absolutely useless. This astro gun is much smaller than the cornwell and packs some serious punch. It rivals my matco 3/8 gun that is twice the size. Believe the reviews, this thing for it's price is unbeatable.

just the handiest darn thing. fits into places you can't possibly get a full sized into.

Great gun for good price
Very strong gun for it's size. Only problem is it's a bit noisy, but these plus some universal impacts will get you good in alot of spots.

Just buy it now!
Wow this tool is a beast. Small and powerful. Made changing hub wheel bearing so easy. Spin off axle not no problem. Just buy it now. Also get the Astro air swivel too.I put some 2” wide vinyl grip tape around the head to protect from dings. Looking for a sleeve to protect the head.

Like an Altoid--small and curiously strong!
My girlfriend complained my reviews were too long. That hurt a little bit, because I enjoy taking the reader on a journey with me, and in the end hopefully you get a good product review as well as maybe a little laugh along the way.Anyways, I like to believe I'm open to constructive criticism, so here's my new review format--all the facts up front, with all my blah blah blah mumbo jumbo at the end. Hope you enjoy.Pros:--Incredibly small impact wrench-- Great power-to-size ratio--Gets into really tight spots--Affordable--You can carry it in your back pocketCons:--Maybe not a fair con, but it’s not a replacement for a full size impactConclusion: Great impact that would make a welcome addition to your tool box. Here’s the blah blah blah part:I’m not a professional mechanic, but I love working on my car and the cars of friends. I’ve recently been phasing out my use of air impact wrenches in favor of cordless models which has worked out great. Unfortunately, the smaller cordless impacts (at least the ones I have) just don’t have the oomf that a comparable sized air impact does. That’s where this Astro impact really shines.I learned of this stubby impact from watching you toob videos of South Main Auto Repair. If you’re a professional mechanic, probably the last thing you want to do is watch another mechanic do their job, but for me, I can spend hours watching that stuff. Anyways, Eric from the channel has this Astro impact and spoke highly about it, so I thought I’d pick one up and try it myself.Wow, this thing is small. You can really squeeze this thing into some tight places. Heck, you know you have a small impact gun when your deep well socket is longer than the gun itself. Of course the first thing I used it on were my lug nuts. They’re torqued to 90ish pounds and no surprise it was able to get them off, but it did have to hammer on them for a moment—it definitely wasn’t instant. It has its limits….it’s not going to remove the nut from a trailer hitch ball (tried it), but to be fair, that’s not really what this is designed for.Where this thing really shines is when you have your head crammed in your wheel well and you’re working on suspension/brake components. If you’ve got a universal swivel socket on this thing, there aren’t many things you can’t reach with it. Remember the scene from Kill Bill where Uma Thurman punches her way out of a coffin? Yeah, using this impact gun is kind of like that. One of the biggest reasons I bought this was for an upcoming timing belt replacement on my car. I needed a stubby impact that would fit between the crank pulley and radiator. This definitely fits, but I haven’t done the job yet so I don’t know if it’s got enough hootzpa to take the crank bolt off—I think the spec says it’s tightened to 180 pounds….but we all know how crank bolts are sometimes. For now, I’m giving it a rating of 4 stars, but if it takes off my crank bolt, I’m updating my review to give it 50 stars. Regardless of how this handles my crank bolt, I still highly recommend this impact gun.

Well thought out tool design and it works far better than it's appearance would suggest
This is my new favorite tool.On first impression, the impact wrench is tiny. You hold it and wonder why anyone thought that a 1/2" drive would work - or be necessary on something so small. The tool was minimally packaged. The box is similarly tiny. The instructions are minimalistic. But then if you are purchasing this tool you probably already know how pneumatic tools work and this one is no different. There was no airline coupler included but then what they might have included might not have worked with the equipment you might already have. Probably better to save the 0.50 cents it'd cost them to include it so that you can supply your own preferred coupling. You'll want to find high flow fittings as the smaller wrenches tend to use more air than comparable but physically larger wrenches. And being a pneumatic device, it's performance is directly dependant on the suitability of your air supply. It also comes with no oil so again, up to you to supply it.The most important thing to note about this impact wrench is the shape of it. Most of the wrenches that call themselves compact only measure the distance along the axis of the drive. That's a fine consistent way to measure but it ignores the fact that usually you're trying to get the wrench into a space between two parallel surfaces and many of the wrenches have a handle that is at a pretty significant angle to the drive portion of the wrench. That makes the wrench take significantly more space if you're going to get square onto the fastener. This one's handle is virtually square. Similarly, the connection of the air coupling to the wrench comes square out of the handle so you don't have the air hose and coupling adding to the effective size of the wrench. The wrench is light too - not too light though - doesn't feel "plastic-ie" but certainly you could use this wrench at arms length or at an awkward angle for a fair period of time without fatigue. The wrench was purchased to help with removing the water pump on a 97 ford explorer. If you don't remove the radiator you have about 6.5" of space to work with between the heads of the fasteners and the coils of the radiator. Add to that the issue that Ford uses studs with about 1.5" of threads exposed for the wiring harness clips which necessitated using a deep socket. And the bolts are 6-8 inches long and for most of their length are exposed to coolant in an environment with both aluminum and iron. This wrench and a deep 1/2 inch socket fit without issue.I had been using a breaker bar to attempt to loosen the bolts and as is typical had success with all but one. And none of my other impact tools would fit. Figuring the cost between removing the radiator so that a larger impact wrench could be used or ordering a new tool, it was a simple decision. So, I put the 1/2" deep socket on this air wrench and gently maneuvered it onto the bolt and pulled the trigger. 20 seconds later and the bolt was backing the wrench into the radiator.Anticlimactic but the Nano Impact Wrench did what I could not with good hand tools. And it did it without fuss or complication.
