Excellent Product
Very high germination rate, sprouted extremely quickly, and the flavor was delicious. Best price I've found on Amazon... or anywhere else for that matter. I couldn't be more pleased with this item. I'll be ordering more from this company

Great germination rate, plump, fresh beans, 4 years left of shelf life
Received: July 2022Best By: May 2026Specialization / Certification: Non-GMO, kosher, rawProduct of: ArgentinaI just finished up growing a batch of these and stuck another batch to sprout. These have a great germination rate, very few broken beans, and just a really nice clean quality. Just what I was looking for to produce my own mung bean sprouts.

Great little seeds.
With the price and avalibility of salad ingredients being what they are, we made a decision to use sprouts as our salad. They are great as a handy snack, sandwich additives and mixed with other sprouts. After trial and error we decided this will really work! It does. Now we are looking for affordable seeds in bulk at a reasonable price. Amazon has sufficient variety that it is a no-brainer...Give it a try!!

Lots of little beans
Before I go on, it's probably important to note that I bought these to use with one of those nifty bean sprout machines, not to eat as beans. We like making Chinese food fairly often, but there are no Asian produce stores nearby, so we thought we would give growing-our-own a try.It seemed a little risky to buy these, as some have reported limited success getting them to sprout. But I was drawn in due to them being the best priced mung beans available at the time, so I stocked up. Worst case, emergency food so no loss either way.I'm happy to report that they sprouted for us just fine and we soon found ourselves with more bean sprouts than either of us felt like eating. Very, very few of the beans didn't sprout and when they didn't, it was always the little ones. And that brings me to the only complaint I have about these. There are a lot of little mung beans and the smaller the bean, the smaller the sprout, if they sprout at all (change my mind.) To that end, we now do a little preparation before we sprout them, which involves a sieve with openings the correct size to filter out the little ones. I've never eaten mung beans as a bean, but we save the little ones for that eventuality. So the long and short of it is, yes, they cost less but be prepared to do some sifting if you want to sprout them. Still a pretty good deal and I am happy we bought them.

Good quality
The beans have fresh and clean taste compared to other products that I could find locally (including international stores). I would recommend this if you are planning to eat a lot of mung bean, since it comes with quite large quantity. Overall, it's worth the money for sure.

This is a none GMO food product which is important to me.
This is a none GMO food product which is important to me. The mung beans are excellent for making curries and as a main ingredient in some oriental meat stews served on rice which use no curry spices at all. I like to soak the beans in warm water for 24 hours before cooking them. The beans are absolutely delicious and priced right.

I am trying to get rid of a fatty liver.
I lost 40 pounds by changing my diet. Dr. told me the ideal weight, but losing is not staying at that weight. I weight two hundred and too many pounds. This fits my soon to be longterm habits. That I must learn. These don't taste good, nor bad. You have to experiment with recipes and change your taste for this very good food. And yes it does the roughage you need, just nicely.

Smallish sprouts.
Good germination, but I wish they were larger.
