QUALITY: A+ Beginner's Quality Light | BOTTOM: Metal 3-way bottom stand. Each support is approx 12" long x 3 total. | MIDDLE: Poles are metal, each is adjustable on its own, a total of 3, and are held in place with "delicate" all-plastic made screw-in wing bolts. They do the job, but with over-tightening could easily snap & break! It adjusts up to a max of approx 6' Feet. | UMBRELLA: Very Large opened up, approx 36" Diameter. The inner workings, braces that open it are made of metal, but thin and delicate. If repeatedly collapses & reopened, I could see it very easily breaking. This lamp is meant to be used in 1 location, not moved here, there, and everywhere... Or else, it's not going to last very long! | LIGHT - BULB: The bulb is included, approx 12" High x 5" Wide, and bright as sunshine! It would be a great light therapy lamp. Or, as a much needed extra lighting source, for any room - any place. | CONCLUSION: This works well for photography of items, from small (ie, jewelry) to extra large items (ie. furniture). It can be used for very close-up and to a few feet away photographed items!

Honestly I was not expecting this product to be as good as it is. A few thing to consider before buying. First, the plastic connection of the lamp to the stand can be tightened all the way to get a snug fit but I would not recommend this as it is plastic and may crack. Remember that this light only needs to only have a connection to the stand so the light wont get knocked off the stand, it does not need to be extremely tight. So it works perfectly in my eyes because it is not a heavy light. Second, the cord is about five feet long and you will need to use an extension cord if your not right up against an outlet. Third, the light that comes with it is a cool colored tint, in my Canon 7D it registers at or about 5600K. The bulb is a 105w CFL and is really bright especially when used with others. I purchased a 3200K bulb as well and it its perfect for what I want. You may get into a situation where the bulb cost more than the whole set up but it is worth it if you want a verity of different bulbs and higher watt output. Fourth, the diffuser is very thin but it gets the job done and looks good. For the price of this product its unbelievable. Now for the quality of the umbrella its self. The product pops out just like a regular umbrella would and its an excellent reflector. Its very quick and easy to set up and doesn't look cheap. The only down fall is that you must take out the bulb out every time you want to put it away but if you buy a cheap case on here for the bulb it solves your problem. This product also come with a little bag, its not the best bag in the world but it does its job well enough, looks good, and im not replacing it so thats that. I ordered on a Friday night and it was at my door Monday afternoon. I would recommend this product and I hope you have a good experience like I did. Happy shopping!

Just received this item last night. Came in a long box, fairly light weight. When I opened the box, everything was packaged nice and very organized. Simple and perfect! Very easy to assemble. I was surprised at how nice the product was for the price.Make sure to follow the instructions!! They’re super easy to follow. Push the umbrella in the center until it clicks. I had to get someone to hold it while I pushed the center in and set in place. The bulb was very large which again surprised me due to the affordable cost. When everything was put together, I plugged it in and the light output is strong and beautiful! The only downfall is the power cord is short, so you’ll need an extension cord. But for the price, you can’t beat that!!The stand is super light weight. Be careful when handling because it is too heavy due to the umbrella and bulb. I’m going to need some small sandbags to weigh the legs down. Just be mindful and take care of the item.Hope I continue to enjoy this and you do too!

I keep this lighting out and up above where I watercolor. At night and during the day it gives more light on the page. It adds to the light of a tall lamp above my desk(with 2 lights), a ceiling fan light and a clip on small light to one side. Having this light shining directly above me helps me see the page sometimes. It gives more even lighting. This light is easy & fast to set up. It's very lightweight. It is not warm, although sometimes I shut it off when I don't need all the light. It even feels artistic! I recommend. I did return the first one because when screwing in the big light bulb at first it didn't turn on and then all on it's own it popped.. the light bulb broke. The second light worked right away. I like it.

I have been using this for about 3 weeks now when photographing clothing for my online shop and am very happy so far. I live in a 50's house with NO ceiling lights and it is impossible to get true-to-color photos even with a dozen table lamps and all the curtains open. This light has saved me a lot of time in editing! The only minor issue I've noticed is when it is extended to full height, the light/umbrella is (of course) a bit top heavy. I wish the tripod legs were longer or were able to flatten out a bit more.. Not much of a problem unless it is bumped, but I would suggest you keep that in mind if you have children or pets running around. I just place my coffee table in front of it to be safe. Overall I am very happy with this set and would recommend it for simple at-home use. I included a comparison photo, both were taken with my cell phone. With flash vs. no flash/LimoStudio Light only.

I love the light. I use it for online video work and it has a great bright light, however, the quality of the stand is very poor. The bolted area that you screw on has the nut coming off. I do not move it much, maybe 3 times total since I have had it. It is not supporting the lamp well and I’m sure it will break soon. I have only had this lamp for about 7 months and would have hoped it would have lasted much longer or at least an option for replacement parts so I don’t have to purchase an entire light again. I will be exploring my options with another brand to see if it holds up better.
