Works great with everything I have, including old CRT TV!!
I have an viewsonic projector, a blu ray, a dvd , a vcr, and an old Sony triniton crt. I use the remote for all these, some of them I had to try several of the listed codes to get the optimal functionality out of it. It even works with my mom’s previous smart tv, a tcl Roku, and even allows you to input channel numbers directly, which was one of her main reasons to upgrade to LG. I was pleasantly surprised by this, the original remote had no number buttons, it’s just like the remote for a Roku stick. This is my second one, the first one my mother prefers to use with the LG because of the bigger buttons. It doesn’t work with streaming sticks, they don’t have sensors. I’m planning on getting an older traditional style Roku for that purpose, to hook up to the projector.TL,DR; works great with everything I have, may need to try multiple codes for optimum usage.

Small but Mighty
This is a handy little remote to take the place of most other remotes in our house. The only drawback is it does not work for a fire stick but says it will work for a Roku. The universal volume function is great and the input button is usually missing on other universal remotes. It is small with small buttons, but I prefer it that way.

Almost perfect remote. It was super easy to set up ...
Almost perfect remote. It was super easy to set up for both my old insignia TV and my Roku device. The only complaint I have is that the buttons seem a little off. They press into the controller with no resistance and are very soft. I know it's a minor complaint, but other remotes with harder buttons have felt better.

You Get What You Pay For
The remote was super easy to program, and works perfectly with my Vizio TV, Optimum cable box, Phillips BluRay Player, and Roku, but there are issues. The 2 biggest issues is that this remote is a lot smaller than I thought (it is about a half inch bigger than my Samsung Galaxy S20fe phone). This means the buttons are very close together, so I sometimes mash multiple buttons. The other main complaint is to hit "back" (like to exit of a show/streaming service) you have to hit "shift" AND THEN the "Previous Channel" button, instead of just having a single dedicated button. That got annoying on day 2. The last issue (which I think was my mistake from looking at multiple remotes before picking this one) was I thought the buttons lit up in the dark. They don't. They don't glow in the dark either, so learning to use it with the lights off can be difficult. My advice, spend a couple dollars more, and get the bigger remote, with a "back" button, and light up buttons if you plan on using the remote regularly. If you need a universal remote for a spare bedroom, or entertainment area you don't use regularly, this remote will work just fine. Hope this helps.

No fuss no muss
We have a huge problem with remotes in my household. We keep losing them, or maybe we are just too lazy to look around. In any case I have bought four of these. They work on everything I need. Panasonic tv, Cox cable box, and Sony tv in the bedroom.I now have two for the living room for when we lose the first one, one for the bedroom, and a spare in the garage I bought when I lost both the living room remotes. Easy to program and also has auto search for if you lose the codes. For less than $10 a pop these are easily worth the money and I'm not going to go so far as say disposable, but when I lose one its not the end of the world. All in all a good buy.

Back button doesn't work for roku express, nobody at GE tests their products I guess
Back button doesn't work with Roku Express, unless you enter shift mode. And then once you're in shift mode, the home button doesn't work. So you have to leave shift mode. Really poor experience for the wife and kids. I returned mine. Seriously -- a roku has 7 buttons. Why require shift for one of them???? Did anyone at GE even test this?I'll look at getting another learning IR remote instead.

Great Remote
My TCL Roku TV didn't have a remote to go with it. I've had to scan through channels to get to the ones I wanted which is annoying. This little remote works like a charm!

Good Remote For Roku and TV
This remote is small enough to fit comfortable in my hand and it is easy to program. I am also pleased that it controls my Roku because after I bought it some reviews suggested that I should by a universal remote that is dedicated to Roku products. Thankfully this one easily controls my TV, RoKu, and DVD player with room left should I need it. My only frustration with this remote is that the writing is so small that I will just have to memorize where the buttons I need are located, but I figure I'd end up doing that anyway, so I still feel this purchase was a win.
