ATack Waterproof Patch and Seal Tape, Black, 4 Inches x 10 Feet, Water Barrier Tape for Stop Leak Repair on Pipes, Chimney, Roof, Boat, and HVAC

The thickness and flexibility of the material was better than expected. The adhesive was thick and strong bonding to metal. I used on an exposed cast iron well pipe which showed signs of rust through. Patched the rust hole with a metal shield and fiberglass epoxy and then covered the circumference of the pipe with ATack Waterproof Patch and Seal Tape followed by 2" PVC commercial tape. The end result was a superb seal with minimal cost for material. Great product!

Very sticky and heavy duty tape. It keeps its adhesive even when wet. It didn’t work in my application which was to combine two drainage pipes. They would slowly back away from each other. I would recommend it for saner uses.

Used his product as a hinge to hold 2 pieces of glass together. Will be using it around a water area, so water resistance is a great feature. It worked great and being clear and made the project look good and set very smoothly. The stick is strong, so make sure what you want to stick it to, and don't plan to remove it.

It works if you use it right

I used this to wrap around a slow leaking pipe to my water heater. I wiped down the pipe and got it as dry as I could but it did not stick to it. I could tell it has great adhesive and would likely work well on other items that don’t involve water. Disappointed it did not work as described.

The tape worked great to seal the leaking areas. Good price.

This item did not hold up. It says it works under water, it says it sticks to anything, but in truth the only thing it sticks to is itself. I was trying to fix a leak, it was only a drip, it was in a pool, but easy spot right at the water line. It keeps falling off and going to the bottom, after about 30 seconds it wasn’t sticky anymore so trash. I thought I’d try again, this tome wrap a pipe, it says it’s great for that, this time above water and not high pressure, just another drip, after I wrapped it, I waited a few minutes and went back, the drip had taken all of the sticky off and the tape had fallen off. If it’s waterproof they must be talking about the solid part because the glue is not, I bought a roll of trash , nothing I used it on worked. The good part is I didn’t have to try to remove it when it didn’t work, it fell off every time on its own.

I like that it’s waterproof and easy to apply to different surfaces.
