TrumpeterTitanic Plastic Model Kit with LEDs

This is the first time that I've ever owned a plastic model of the Titanic at the 1/200 scale size, she has very amazing details like the day she was built in Belfast 1911, some of you asked how long the model is, well she is 53 inches long which compares to 4 feet and 4 inches. Now is the model actually compatible for an RC model? Yes it is. You can buy the RC Kit for the model.. I won't put her in the water but she'll be on display once she is completed. It is absolutely worth the money even though it's expensive. Any person who puts model ships together would definitely enjoy this one

This is a highly detailed model. It will take a long time to build. I would recommend only to serious modelers.

This is an excellent model kit of an iconic ship which is just begging for aftermarket add-ons, of which many are available. It is very large, and very expensive, especially if you purchase any of the available upgrades, which are not cheap. Could be the build of a lifetime. Product was quite reasonably priced, when compared to same on ebay, and was shipped promptly. My only issue, and reason for four stars instead of five, was the packaging, or should I say, lack or it (see picture). Shipper simply slapped a label on the model box itself and threw it in the mail. The top was not even taped closed and could have come open. I will admit, despite this, it arrived undamaged, save for a few crumpled corners and several labels that needed to be carefully peeled off to save the box art, but in hundreds of model purchases, I've never seen one shipped like this. Good kit, good price, prompt shipping, questionable packaging.

I bought this model last year on a different site and mostly have it built. I didn't realize until around Halloween I screwed up on some parts. and by the time I realized my mistake I couldn't fix it. I used my $1,200 stimulus check for my first one and hopefully if I get a $1,400 check next month, I'm buying another one with the detail kit for further accuracy and the scale decks laser cut wood deck. I also had to leave some things off my original model because they were either too small for my fat fingers or my modelling tools to handle, or, in the case of the photo etched metal parts for the funnels or the whistles for the funnels, I couldn't bend them properly. My main complaint is they should have added spare parts for the smallest or thinnest parts(i.e. whistles, photo etched lifeboat davit parts, railings, stairs, etc) I highly recommend this for anyone interested in the millionaire's special.
