Functional and seem pretty ok so far
Debated 4 vs 5 stars, but they are functional and work well so far, so I gave it a 5. I have just used them once and they did their job. I am happy with them so far.The combs are a bit difficult to put on and take off at first, but once I got the knack of it, it is no problem. It stays on securely and has a "spring-loaded" mechanism to fit different blades. I think they would fit a large variety of clippers because of this. Not sure how well this will last over time though. The teeth at the edges do not have a hanging edge on the sides, so the blade can extend to the side of the comb. When I put the comb on normal clipper blades, the blade goes to the edge of the comb but does not extend to the side of the comb. Since they don't have that edge though, this allows them to also fit on the wide 40w clipper blades, although the comb does not cover the entire extrawide blade. I have not been able to find wider combs to fit the wide blades, but at least these can go on the blade. Not sure if I will use them with the wide blades, but they fit if I want to try which is nice. The length that these combs cut the hair is relatively shorter than the standard set I have for my husband's clippers (those go up to 1 inch, these only go up to 9/16 = 0.56 inches) and the numbering of the combs is not the standard system that you would ask for at a barber shop (smaller number is longer length, as opposed to shorter length). At least one of the tines in a comb came bent to the side a little because of how they fit together in the package. This bothers me, but I don't think it will actually affect the function too much (maybe make the trim a little bit uneven or need a second pass? the bend is not too bad - could use the 0.56" comb instead of the 0.5" comb ). Also wish the package it came in would close again so I could store them in the package instead of loose.

Great alternative but wouldn't recommend them for professional use.
A great alternative to buying individual sized clipper blades. However, there is a downside (as with most cheap alternatives), but for the price you're saving it might be worth the little bit of extra work (at least for me). It clogs easily, but not TOO easily. I use these for grooming my dog, not professionally, so it's not a serious issue for me to have to stop, remove and clean out the combs (I also have to clean the blade too as it clogs as well) a few times per session. In these combs' defense, my dog is a Bichon/Shih Tzu mix and his hair (not fur) is super super soft, and super curly/fuzzy and it grows super fast and long. It grows straight out from his body (just to give you an idea of what I'm working with so you can judge from what you have to work with). It's a lot of hair for these combs to deal with so obviously it will clog faster for me than for someone else with different fur/hair type to work with.Great quality, had them for over 2 years now and they still work and look like they did on day 1. The only reason I wouldn't recommend them for professional use is due to having to stop to unclog the blade and combs. Time is money for professionals and quite honestly, if I saw a professional using these, I'd find another professional. :)

Installation is difficult to figure out but they do work well
I ordered these combs to keep my Maltese dogs neat in between professional grooms, and save a bit of money. The package states the combs fit #10, 30, and 40 blades. I have the Andis LightSpeed trimmer with a #10 blade, and following the instructions they did not fit at all. I went out and bought a #30 blade, and still they didn't fit. The instructions say to hook the plastic comb teeth over the teeth of the blade, and snap the comb on at the bottom. After some frustration, I figured out that THIS IS BACKWARDS, and it will not work with the Andis blades. Instead, you have to hook the metal piece to the base of the blade, push up with your thumb on the middle of the comb and carefully snap the plastic teeth over the teeth of the blade. Once you figure it out they are easy to install and remove, and they work very well. Blade oil can be applied to the underside of the blade as you work to keep it from getting hot.I found the combs to be of good quality, and the assortment of sizes is great for small dogs. Overall a worthwhile purchase.

WONDERFUL! UNIVERSAL & SPRING LOADED!!
I made sure these were going to fit my blades before I bought them! I read the description very well, and even went to the andis website. BUT when I first got them, I was so mad because they did not fit!!! I couldn't believe I went thru all of that trouble and they still did not fit! I WAS WRONG!Amazon desription reads "Universal snap-on clipper comb set"It should also say that they are "SPRING LOADED" that is why they are so universal. (hint: they don't look spring load when you look at them)Also the instructions that are on the packageing are not very clear, and I think wrong!First you fit the metal clips at the bottom of the blade. Then you use your thumb and push up on the blue plastic comb part.AND IT STRETCHES UP ALL THE WAY OVER THE BLADE! YAY! I was so excited when I figured out that they did work!and they work GREAT!They are held on very firmly, and they will not be falling off during clipping.I am so glad I bought these! Perfect fit, and great quality!

Fits Andis AGC2 clippers
I've been grooming my 40+lb terrier mix at home since the pandemic shutdown. I originally used one size of Wahl stainless steel guide comb but decided I needed more comb sizes. This set of 9 combs was way more affordable and now I have numerous sizes to choose from. I've used them once and they worked great. Of course, I wash my dog first before attempting to groom her so the combs glide easily through her hair. Being plastic, I'm sure these are more likely to break than stainless steel combs but they seem durable enough for my use. I'll update this review if any of the combs ever break. They also attach just fine. The people having problems just don't know how to install them. There are numerous videos online that will show you the proper way to install them.
