Cheaper than Ditra
DID THE JOB! Much easier than hard board. Follow the instructions and i doubt you will have any disappointment. It is rough to kneel on, but at least it is lightweight and easy to cut. It is also thinner than hard board and cheaper than Ditra if you don't need waterproof.

I used about 416 square feet in three areas in my basement. It seemed to work OK. I've never used Ditra but this seemed fairly straightforward for an amateur like me. It's also a lot less expensive. Time will tell if it lives up to all of its advertised properties but so far so good.

Very easy to install.
Excellent product as underlayment for porcelain tiles. Recommend using thinner thinset underneat.

Goes down ez and hopefully works over the long haul . Too early to tell .Since I am a DIYer I have a lot of tools . I took a 60 cu ft Welding tank and layed it down on its side and used it like a rolling pin to smooth out the mat . It worked like a charm nice and even.
