Solid Blaster
I love this thing. I know there are more powerful options out there, and this is only a single shot blaster with a long reload process, but those are not the reasons I was interested in it. It feels really great in your hands, the grip is on the larger side, but its really comfortable in my own hands. The reload process is part of what makes the experience with this blaster enjoyable, even though it is lengthy compared to other Nerf Blasters, the motion of chambering the rifle and priming it is satisfactory. This blaster hits hard and accurate, and sometimes I prefer it over bigger Nerf guns because of how fun it is to handle. I'll go so far to even see how fast I can reload it and fire again, which takes if you are good at it, about 3 seconds. Overall, its a solid gun, well built, extremely accurate and fun to use. With cover, it can be perfectly viable against larger Nerf guns if you are accurate with your shots and good with movement. Overall, I'd say it's perfectly worth the money.

Perfect Blaster
Bought one of these during college to participate in the dorm nerf battles. It’s a surprisingly powerful nerf gun with a very satisfying action. Had a lot of fun with it. Well worth the money I spent.

Great Rival Blaster
This is a really nice small sized Nerf gun with a ton of punch. The plunger tube inside this thing is massive, and the spring is also very strong. This fires much harder than most of my other Nerf guns. You can double load this with 2 rival balls to turn this into a mini shotgun if you wanted to.The loading process can be a bit cumbersome and confusing at first, but once you figure it out, you can chamber rounds rather quickly for fast followup shots. It is a single shot blaster, so you will have to reload it after every shot. However, there two things to keep in mind about this blaster that are not necessary downsides, but rather things to keep in mind. The plunger tube for the gun is located inside the grip, and it is very large. Because of this, the grip is also huge. If you want an idea as to how huge the grip is, going front to back, its about as wide as a coke can, and from side to side, as wide as an energy drink can. So even as an adult, the grip is almost too big for my hands. If you have small hands or are rather young, you will find this to be rather uncomfortable to hold. I do not recommend this blaster if you have small hands. The other thing to keep in mind is that this gun does not have an air restrictor in it. What that means is if you fire it without a round in the chamber (dryfiring), the head of the piston is going to slam into the end of the piston at full force without anything to slow it down. Most Nerf guns have air restrictors to prevent any damage to the piston from occurring if you dryfire them. Because this gun does not have that air restrictor, combined with the powerful spring and large piston, if you repeatedly dryfire it, you will break it. So try to avoid firing this gun without any rounds in the chamber. It wont break immediately, but it will if you keep doing it.With those two things in mind, as long as you don't have small hands, this is a really nice and cheap Nerf blaster.

Spend plenty of time looking cool to shoot once
I got this blaster because it's small size and the price of $10.People won't be using this competitively because of how slow it is. People will always choose the Kronos for their pistol sidearm. The blaster is powerful and accurate. The grip is huge and beefy. I have large hands being 6'2", and I even think this grip is big. So I would think this is targeted to large teens and adults. Kids won't even be able to reach the trigger. The trigger is narrow and dig into your finger, and it feels a little painful because it's a little tough to pull.Firing a shot is loud. Opening the breach to load a round is loud. The ammo storage on the sides are very useful and effective in holding the rounds in place while running around.Yes, it takes 6 steps to fire one shot. I think people like this blaster because of the act of doing those steps. It closely resembles actual pistol reload mechanisms. I for one, would love to try and mod mine to have a working slide you pull on instead of the standard pushing in the barrel. You can prime the blaster anyway you want, but my tip would be to point the blaster up and pull away with your other hand.A quality blaster for the price.

Shoots good but only holds 1 bullet
From the 9 year old who wanted this gun..... Even though I knew at purchase time this gun would only hold one bullet in the barrel, it's still a drawback but, it has incredible power! The rival balls hit hard and fast and can really bounce back at you close range. Wear eye protection for sure! The gun comes with only 2 bullets overall but, it is capable of holding 4 bullets on the outside of the gun, so it would be nice of Nerf to supply a couple more. Be careful when you pull the orange priming handle to keep your fingers higher up on the outside handle, as the first time I went to prime the gun i accidentally caught my pointer finger in between it and the gun when i pushed it back in and it pinched my finger and I got a blood blister. It hurt but I still really like this gun. And at my age everything seems expensive and over priced!

Fun little toys but they do shoot hard - so watch your eyes (eye protection STRONGLY recommeded)
Use Eye protection! Seriously -- even a ricochet could easily ruin your day. Believe me, if the ammo (ball) hits anything of hard substance, it will bounce far and continue on. Could easily break glass, a light-bulb, etc.Other than that they little blaster guns are really fun. The main part of the gun holds 4 ammo rounds. There is a lever near what you might call the slide rail that is operated to slide the barrel forward to insert your ammo. You then close the barrel and pump it once. The pumping action (extends out of the hand grip, then down) is a little 'tough' to operate if you have weak hands or are maybe too little to be messing with these. However, we did allow our 5yo and 7yo to shoot under extreme supervision and they did well to shoot but struggles with the pump action.
