Yes it works with Series X/S. If you love fifa 15 its a nice fit between the old gen and new gen games. It's like between 15 and 17 up in terms of feel.

IF YOU ARE A FATHER OF A DAUGHTER... this game is awesome. FIFA16 is the first FIFA game that featured FEMALE TEAMS! I bought it for my 6 yr old girl, who just started playing soccer. It is easy to play. The graphics still hold up. And for a little girl... REALLY INSPIRING TO SEE WOMEN playing the "Beautiful Game". The difficulty level is adjustable. Get this game. The price is great. YES, I know we are on FIFA21 now, but this is a great and historical starter game. Historical!? I have been a gamer since childhood. Lately it has been getting old to see how video game characters in general tend to be men. As a Dad, who is raising a gamer daughter, I really enjoy having female characters for her.

Defense is next to impossible in one-on-one situations, since the computer passes persistently and never tries to make a play (making the career mode particularly unpleasant). Controls are unresponsive, for example, when trying to power up a kick. Throw-ins are sometimes impossible, because it looks at you from top down--meaning you can't see anyone, so you have no idea where you're throwing the ball. In short, it's a really disappointing game. I wanted to like it--I think it's great how many teams there are, and that they finally included the women's teams (if only a few international teams), and the broad language inclusion is exciting. But the gameplay is just so bad. A lot of the problems would be readily fixable if EA had made any effort, had oversight, had people playing (who weren't invested in making money off of getting the game out the door).Update: I raised the review because despite the growing pains, I continue to play it (when free time permits) and generally enjoy the game. There are issues, as noted above, and complaining about those is easy. But in the grand scheme, I do generally enjoy playing the game.

First time for me playing FIFA since playing it on Windows'95 or similar, back in the 1990'ies, Thus, as opposed to many of the other reviews, this one does not try to compare incremental upgrades from the last few years - here goes my thoughts:FIFA 16 is truly amazing: Just like watching a live football match with active commentary and smooth play - only here you control the players with great many possibilities and variations in kicking, passing and slide-tackling. Play it nice or play it dirty and the umpire rightly hands out warnings, yellow and red cards when warranted.Also, not least for me: For once, a game on the XBOX where my three kids and I can play on the same machine and TV set simultaneously - something almost totally missing otherwise on the XBOX and something which I must admit has been hugely disappointing to me till now on the XBOX. More of this, please.

If you can't score against the computer then you suck. A lot of you say it's difficult but you just have to learn the kicks just like with any other game. I'm not so skilled at this game either but I manage to win games so don't listen to any of these guys here. One of my favorite games especially online!

This was a Christmas gift for my nephew and he loves it. FIFA 2016 left nothing on the table. It has everything one would want in a video game. High quality, lots of action. Well put together. EA Sports does it again. I recommend this product to anyone interested in a soccer video game.

TERRIBLE game. The WORST soccer game I have ever played. The mechanic is not smooth at all, at least on Xbox one. The way players run is so stupid. For instance, this Fifa makes Benzema from a very smart player becomes one of the dumbest and most useless striker I have ever seen, or a defender like Rabiot or Embre Can run faster than my Bale or Ronaldo in a sprint for the ball. Also, the way that the computer switches players and passes is so weird and stupid, and it has f***ed me up so many times already with my counter attack. If you are the type of player who like dribbling or doing those tricks a lot, then maybe this game is not bad although I can't guarantee. But if you play like me, pass a lot, counter attack most of the time, use through ball for most of the case to create chances, then don't get this game. I love playing soccer game so much that even I hate this game so much, I still play it everyday even though it is so stupid that I want to smash it to pieces every time. I switched to Fifa from pes 15 and this one is way worse than that one.
