An effective workout.
easy asambly, but needs lubrication before usimg. It is, nevertheless, just what the Dr. recommended.

This is overpriced for what it is, UNDERPRICED for what it does
I'm a middle aged desk jockey that occasionally suffers from tight or acute lower back pain. Stretching usually helps but that takes days to relieve a bad pull. The construction of this is a little junky, so out of the box I thought "well that was wasted $80, I could have made something similar for $20". While true, this is actually a screaming value. The adjustability is important to finding the right stretch to pull on whatever muscle is tight and causing the back pain, and it only takes a second to change the length. The results are MAGIC, and this can stretch upper back/shoulders, lower back, thighs and calves. My son runs track and is shaped like a cross between a chimp and giraffe, it takes him 2 seconds to adjust the stretcher to do his calves after I've been stretching out my lower back.Best $100 I've spent in a long time (even though it is only $5 COGS).

As we age - It is important to remain flexible -STRETCHING is THE KEY
The product is worth your investment - Especially during the Covid Era. Immobilization can cause problems. This is a" keep it simple" device. That allows one to stretch at their own abilities. As you become more capable - you have an option to extend the stretch further. Recommend for all those 18 and older. I use it in the sitting position and this appears to be enough. Use normal twice a day for 10 minutes or so. Once upon awakening and before bed. Stay healthy & enjoy.

Must buy for back problems
Cured my sciatic pain along with a shoe lift. Also when I feel my back going out I use the stretcher and save myself from any downtime from middle and lower back muscle spasms. Truly a best buy for back problems. Kinda pricey but worth every penny! Bought it about 3 years ago and no issues withbuild quality.

Cheap construction is dangerous, Does not hold setting
The ”metal” is so cheap the setting slips w/ hardly any torque and slams into your hips mid stretch. Every adjustable metal hole setting tried on the pole warped after the second use. I’m only 150lbs and I’m not using any force just leaning forward while holding the handles. Very frustrating because the one at physical therapy is my favorite thing. They must have an older model, I can’t find it anywhere, it’s made with real metal and sturdy. This one is dangerous af, this could really hurt someone. For the price I’m incredibly disappointed. Trying to rig. Highly recommend and going to tell everyone do not buy! Make your own!

Surprisingly effective
I've used this for a week now and most of my lower back pain has gone away. Keep in mind that I never had severe back pain, but rather I had an ache in my lumbar that was bothering me throughout the day, particularly if I was sitting down. I'm not sure how this thing works – is it decompressing my spine or is it simply stretching my muscles. I guess it doesn't matter – I've gotten so much relief from this thing. The only drawback is that it's pretty large and doesn't hide anywhere easily. You want to have it out so you remember to use it, but it's a pretty ugly contraption just to be lying around next to your sofa. Still, I can hardly fault the manufacturer for that so it still gets five stars. Also, it does take quite a bit of upper body strength to use at deep angles. I'm a tall male and it tires my shoulders out. If you have bad shoulders or are particularly weak, I question what this device could really do for you. For everyone else, go for it. I'm curious why this isn't used more.
