AMAZING! multipurpose fencing tool
I've been using a come-along for the last few years and it was always frustrating. This is so much better! it works for barbed wire, high tensile electric fence, and also for field fence (horizantally and vertically).I used this to vertically stretch field fence after it had been crushed by a fallen tree. AWESOME!

Great performance
Great working tool. Looks like it will last well. Really a big help repairing fence. It was a bit hard to figure out using until I found out that the paint was restricting motion. Once it was broken free the tool works perfectly.

Use this all the time
Super heavy duty. Made like they used to be back in the day. Simple tool that’s made right and works great. Only thing is sometimes when you’re applying tension you may need to help the teeth bite the wire by pushing them down when you ratchet the leaver. Not sure if barbed wire would be better only ever used high tensile wire for my pastures. Have also used it for cable and works wells for that too.

Used to pull spiked wire across metal posts
This was needed to tension a wire border across metal posts at a property. After taking a few minutes to adjust and find the right orientation, it repeatedly worked ok. It looks like it had been used before but was not broken. So I decided to keep it in case it is needed in the future because this is a heavy tool that may be awkward to store or transport.

Does its job
This is very easy to use and does a great job of pulling fence wire tight.

Great Fence Stretcher/Puller - I Wish ...
I love these sturdy, strong, and easy to use pullers. I wish it had a deeper throat between the wire clamp and the notched bar, say 8 to 10 inches vs. the current 2 inch. This would allow for easier splicing when wrapping the long tails especially with barbed wire. It would be a much stronger version of the Tx fence fixer and similar devices.BJ

Good tool.
Takes a minute to get the hang of it, but works well. Mine was stuck before using it, so I had to tap it with a hanger to losen it before use.

Where has this tool been all my life?
This thing rocks! I have three miles of fence for cattle so I find myself tightening or repairing a lot of fence. This tool allows me to create a tight wire on either side of the break while I work on connecting to the two broken ends. Make a good connection and let the clamps off and you’re ready to go!
