awesome figure but you need a18500 batteries to turn it on .

First model I bought had a flashlight that didn’t work.Returned to Amazon who were great, and refunded money quickly.I really liked the beautiful detail and expression on Luigi, so decided to buy another one.The second purchase was worse than the first.There was ‘touch up’ paint on Polterpup’s tail, which spoilt the beauty of the figurine.The Micro USB port only worked intermittently, and then stopped working altogether.I will unfortunately have to return the second model to Amazon.Stunning figurine with incredible detail - such a shame it doesn’t work.

So this is the second one I've had - the first one had a problem where when you plugged the USB in it made an ungodly, annoying ultra high pitched noise from the LED circuitry. Meaning you could not use the light up function (I tried all manner of USB power plugs and cords)This, the second one I got also made the high pitched noise but not as bad as the first one. Still could not use the light up function because of it. The paint job was also not very good and there were fingerprints inside the Poltergust!And lastly, on the second time I plugged it in the USB slot collapsed in on itself and now it's rattling round inside the base, see pic!Awful quality control here from F4F which are usually quite good. I would just buy the standard figure without Polterpup.

My son loved this, as a collector of gaming statues, he was very pleased with the workmanship of this statue. It was bigger than I thought, but impressive.
