First time user, slight learning curve, but so far so good!
The media could not be loaded. I had been seriously thinking about switching to a more convenient and affordable alternative to pads and tampons. I've used mainly pads for most of my life but in recent years (I'm in my early thirties) my periods have been getting MUCH heavier and my flow or the angle of my vaginal canal just doesn't work with tampons, I ALWAYS end up leaking on my heaviest days (yes, even with super plus ones 🥲), which is when I need the most help! Another reason I wanted to switch was because I hate having to adjust the type of underwear I use or activities I can engage in (like swimming) while on my period.Anywho, as a first time cup user, of course there is a learning curve and all bodies are different, so even though I watched PLENTIFUL period cup and disc content ahead of time, there's nothing like going in there and doing it lol.Honestly for the price of this product and being a first time user, it was not nearly as troublesome as I thought it'd be. I've been using the small one and emptying it every two hours or so during the heavy days as I get used to it. I am currently towards the end, so I'm going to leave it in a lot longer since I highly doubt it will get full anyway (absolutely no longer than the recommended 6-12 hrs).First time insertion was messy and a bit difficult, but adding a bit of lube around the edge of the cup and using the punch fold seems to be working (shown in the video using the large size). Make sure you push back and not up to get it in place. The hardest part for me so far is making sure it opens up before I go on my merry way. Pulling it out a bit, wiggling it around and dragging a finger around the perimeter seems to help. At first it was a little unsettling that it disappears so far up there lol, but you can definitely get it out.To remove I wouldn't recommend yanking straight down (the suction can be slightly uncomfortable), what I do is bear down so it will peak out, grab the stem and gently pull as I bear down in intervals (like you're pooping), then move it back and forth until one of the edges starts peeking out and slowly releases the suction. At the entrance it can feel a little tight but from there pull straight down, grab the cup by the sides and voila, it's out!I've had no leaks that I've noticed, and I can't really feel it while it's in there. I know part of the point is to not be wasteful, but this first time I've been using nitrile gloves to insert and remove just because my long nails can make the experience more...pinchy lolAll in all, I'm very happy so far and hoping this product will make my monthly period a far less inconvenient experience 😂IMPORTANT TIPS/REMINDERS!!!:1. Don't forget to sanitize (I'm boiling mine) for at least 5 minutes before first use and between uses.2. Wash hands before and after inserting/removing to avoid any bacteria getting in there.3. Rinse off with COLD water first after removing to try to avoid as much staining as possible.👍 10/10 great cup especially if you're a newbie like me, and if it doesn't work for you, you're not out $20-$40 by getting the more well-known brands 😎

Makes it hard to pee. But also stops the annoying leak when you are coughing.
1. I used the large one because my flow is heavy. It does not last 12 hours, but it does hold a lot.2. I roll it up before inserting it like a tampon, then allow it to open up inside. Otherwise it's a literal pain in the ass.3. Unexpected side-effect/benefit? It makes it hard to pee. But it also stops the annoying leak when you are coughing. A smaller size probably will get rid of both but unfortunately I need the larger size.4. Yes it's messy. Not for public restrooms. But I could get away with it in office.

Worked well
I didn’t want to get arsenic or lead poisoning from my tampons (look it up!) so I decided it was time to try an alternative menstrual product to tampons and pads. I got this cup and the flex discs. To be fair, even with the helpful instructional guide with pictures, I don’t think I successfully got the flex disc in the right place once. This period started on a Monday so I was at work every day. I had the flex disk slip and dump blood on the first day so decided to try this cup the second day. It did not move! It stayed put all day and again all night after I cleaned and dumped the cup. I still had heavy bleeding when I tried the cup and it handled it with no leaks. I’m 38 and this is the best period I have ever had. I feel so much better then I normally do. I get really bad cramps and I still had them but had so many less other symptoms. I hate to think that the tampons that were supposed to help me were actually making me feel worse. It’s incredibly depressing. Give this cup a try. It’s a bit of an adjustment. For me, it was shocking how much blood there actually is. I never realized since it was promptly absorbed. My favorite thing about this product is that during most of the day you don’t have to see or deal with the blood which is really nice. I also am really hopeful that it’s not poisoning me which is lovely.

A Very Good Affordable Cup Option
I bought this nearly a year ago and have used it every period since.Cheaper than Flex and several other brands, does the exact same thing with the exact same results. All menstrual cups have a learning curve to them, so there is that part, but all in all a great cup.I will say, my biggest (very minor) issue with it is that you can't get two of the same size, or just one, instead of a large and small. I have no need for the bigger one personally, though I suppose some women who plan on getting pregnant at some point may appreciate having both, and/or someone who is unsure about their size.Another small issue is that I wish the colors weren't different prices. I get it, but the clear ones are a bit off-putting if you aren't the biggest fan of blood. Ha. But I suppose it is nice to be able to see better where it needs to be cleaned. Pros and cons on that note.Last thing to worry about, the end of it is very thin, and I am concerned that after long enough usage that the tip could be ripped off with age. Perhaps it's stronger than it feels, but mine more recently feels like my nails could accidentally rip into it and break it, which would likely force me to buy another. Definitely a good idea to try grabbing it more at the base, where the ridges are, rather than tugging on the tip.Ooooonly times I've had any leakage was back when I first got it and had the positioning wrong once, and then when I've put off checking it for too long and it fills up. Otherwise has never been a problem!
