ShelterLogic 8' x 10' x 5' Small Round Livestock and Agricultural Storage and Shade Shelter Kit

I bought this on a whim for our goats as shelter from the sun and rain. I put it up in about 4 hours. I am a female senior citizen, and aside from my husband holding a few poles while I attached the other end, I had no assistance. Super easy to assemble if you follow the directions. Very sturdy and well-constructed. Looks great, and the goats are happy.

I read the reviews before I purchased this about 1 1/2 years ago and decided to give it a shot; I needed a shelter quickly.Easy assembly. Yes, many have stated that assembly is difficult and help is needed, but I'm used to working alone and managed quite well...everyone's skill level is different.Instead of using the anchors provided, I weighted the excess material with 2 x 10's. Wind was never an issue, and I live in a valley where the winds whip through; it's held up well in mid Missouri weather I'd say.But 1 of my goats with horns put his head through the fabric which has forced me to look for alternative shelters, maybe something more permanent. However, I have given this shelter a new, or maybe just prolonged life. I doubled up a large heavy tarp, not from a big box store, raised the shelter on concrete blocks, placed hog, or cattle panels along the sides to deter the goats from climbing on it, and have it weighted in 2 places with ropes over the top and "very good" bungee cords to compensate for rope stretch. I should get another year or 2 now. But I'm still looking for something more permanent.All things considered, I'd buy another.

It seems sturdily built and was easy to assemble.

Even anchored and attached to posts the frame and tarp did not hold up. Was able to use two whole weeks. Not worth the money

UPDATE: tarp lasted exactly 2-years with a small flock of sheep. The frame is very flimsy--that started to go after about a year but was still usable. The tubing is very thin metal.very sturdy tarp--much more so than I anticipated for the price and something coming in a box. Time will tell but my sheep have jumped up on it (as sheep do) and I don't see any sign of scratching or indentations etc. I put this up by myself in 2 hours and I'm not terribly handy (hence buying a box shed instead of building one.)

More time consuming than expected. Broken parts. One of the bags of screws were already opened so maybe they sent me a product that someone else returned. The ratchet straps were also broken. Luckily I had some of my own I could use. After laying out all the parts I decided to work with what they sent me instead of sending it back. Also this product was offered to buy as a bundle with anchors to drill into the ground but it already came with anchors so I need to send the extra ones back. Overall it works for now and large enough that my 5 sheep seem to enjoy it for shade and it has not blown away. It looks nice and provides shade, material is thin but seems stable. 2 stars because of the missing and broke parts

ShelterLogic 8' x 10' x 5' Small Round Livestock and Agricultural Storage and Shade Shelter Kit ...is fantastic. I purchased one last year and found it to be extremely effective in shading from the sun, wind, rain, and snow. The second one I just purchased and assembled in a few hours by myself. It helps to have someone help you, but takes just a bit longer to assemble by yourself. The anchors they supply are top notch and stands up to 55 mph and beyond. The only complaint I have is that the box does come a bit roughed up, but no worries nothing in side is damaged or dented. UPS just doesn't like boxes that are heavy.. :)

I am very impressed with this product, very heavy duty and should last a while. It survived, hurricane Milton here in Florida!
