Super Robot Chogokin Anti-Gurren Lagann Tamashii Exclusive

One of the best Super Robot Chogokin die cast robot action figures. perhaps one of the all time best overall Action figures. Now for those not realizing it This is the "Anti Gurren Laggan". It is a blacka nd red "evil" repaint from the Super Robot Wars series of video games. This version of the robot does not appear anywhere in Tenga Toppa Gurren Lagan. It is essentially a repaint of the main Gurren Laggan figure, with some minor retooling and differing accessories.To start off the figure is superb. The original red GL figure stands as one of the best in the entire line of toys. Having the most amazing articulation of any Bandai SRC yet produced. Nothing else moves like it. This repaint is the same. It can do things you would never expect in a die cast figure. It has features you certainly dont expect in a small figure. Hinged and ratcheted double elbow joints. Amazing hips and feet that can hit poses unseen outside of a Romanian Gymnast.In appearance he is striking Black with red and grey trim. He lacks GL's chest sunglasses leaving his skull face exposed and evil looking. He comes with 4 extra pairs of hands, three extra faces 4 "Wolverine" type wrist blades and a metric crap top of long hard and extremely pointy drill bits. Each is about 3x the length of those in the GL add on set, the Drill Set of Manliness. So bonus this fig comes with the extra drills. The downside is it does not have the Gurren Wing flight pack. Although GL's can be mounted on him. As can Gunbusters cape.A nice scary evil mecha. One of the few in the line.

Returns are impossible, considering their "restocking fees" and they make it waaay too expensive by mailing from Japan (or pretending to).Otherwise, I kind of like this figure. It's a little too small for my taste, especially the miniscule head that's impossible to switch the faces with. The leg armour pops off if you widden the legs too much, and the hands are insanely difficult to put back on.I will compliment the metal joints and clean plastic that give it a good weight.
