LEGO Movie 70814 Emmet's Construct-o-Mech Building Set

My youngest built this one with some help as it has some tough build sections. Overall he loves it and it's a model he proudly displays in his room. Great size and looks exactly as shown on the box (and in the movie). Not the most sturdy for aggressive play and can fall over easily causing a need to pull out the instructions to fix it so be careful.

Got it in time for my kid's birthday and he loved it and the other kids watching the gifts being opened went, "Wow, that's my favorite LEGO machine from the movie." It also reminds me a little bit of the Constructicons, so it was pretty easy to buy. Like every other LEGO set: excellent build quality, somewhat pricey, prone to breaking apart without Kraggle and a great time putting together with your kid!

This set is fantastic! It is so much bigger than I thought it would be, which was a great surprise! It comes with Emmet (no piece of resistance), angry Uni-Kitty and two metal skeleton bad-guys. The constructo-mech is a solid Lego set! It is not frail or fragile and will not fall apart during rough play from kids. At first I thought the wrecking ball assembly used string (which I am not good at tying on), but it actually uses a solid Lego chain to hold the wrecking ball on, which means they won't just fly off.This set is truly fantastic! Your kids will love it! It has a lot of very cool features: 'roller skate' action legs, bucket hands, steam roller hand, two swinging wrecking balls, Emmet is housed in a solid cage with two large industrial lights and this set is taller than most, making look impressive when set amid other sets like trucks, cars, construction equipment and even other Lego movie sets.I highly recommend this fun Lego model!

I really loved the set. It could stand up really easily, and had supports on the back so it wouldn't fall down. It can roll, which is like no other LEGO movie set. It has really cool weapons, too. All the characters were really cool. It had an Emmet (face had battle and happy) and Unikitty (was red Note: couldn't transfrom into regular Unikitty)that I haven't seen in any other set

This is a challenging build, but theres a bit of repetition to it, not a lot of unique pieces, and the finished model looks great on a shelf but its too fragile to play with.

This was one of 3 BIG presents for my son's Christmas. It's March and he's still playing with it. This is a great toy! He's 9, not too hard to assemble, he didn't need any help, and likes using the 'rare pieces' that are in it for his own creations.

Really nice set. Looks great and is a nice long build. As others have posted, the final product is a little top heavy, but it is also awesome. If you expect Lego sets to always stay together and never fall over then this set is not for you, actually no Lego set is for you. Love it!
