Worked like a charm in my RO system.

This mebrane went on as planned, looks as though it's going to be fine. Did the routine for the first hour of water ran thru the system. Doing good now!!!

Just as described. Fast Shipping. Fair Price. Works as described. I would buy again. I only review or rate what I have had in use for awhile. I bought this to build my own RO system. I bought most of the parts here on AMAZON too. My old RO system was a whirlpool like you buy at Lowes, with the quick change high cost filters and membrane. The TDS was higher than I though they should be, but I figured that was due to the smaller filter and membrane size. Now after a couple of months use with this membrane in my own system the TDS are much lower! TDS has been cut in half compared to the whirlpool system!Note: I did soak this membrane in a zip lock bag in RO water for a day before I installed it. Wash your hands in antibacterial soap and or wear rubber gloves when you handle any RO parts or replace filters so as not to contaminate them! Flush the first couple of tanks after changing the membrane or filters.

This cartridge is great - it works perfectly in my reverse osmosis system to help purify the water I use in my salt water fish tank. I will definitely keep this on my list of products to keep on hand.

The part fit perfect in my Rainsoft 9596 RO system, It's back up and running after 30 minutes of work. $150 was going to be charged to me for 4 filters. Who knows how much to come out and do the work. Look online to do it yourself and save.

Good filter but people should be forewarned that this is "dry" filter which means the manufacturer never ran water through it so if you decide to still buy this filter make sure you run all the water in your RO system about 5 times before drinking it.

This is a replacement cartridge for a reverse osmosis filtration system. This one gets replaced every few years. This cartridge can be tricky to remove. Good tip is to use pliers to twist it and remove it from filtration system canister.
