I love the For Dummies books and this one maintains their standard. Great info, easy to read and use as well as easy to understand.

This book was read prior to an in depth gardening book and I feel as if it was a great introduction to the subject. Reading this book before a real serious gardening book was a great companion as it touched based on a wide variety of topics so once explained further in detail I had a good basic knowledge from which to build on.

I purchased from used books and got a great deal , this is a good book as I am interested in the basics of gardening.

This book is a very easy, practical read for anyone who is interested in or already involved in gardening. Gives good advice about a wide array of subjects, including soil treatment, types of flowers and their zones, and basic techniques for flowers, lawns, and vegetable and fruit gardens. Great for beginners!

I am horrible at landscaping/keeping up my yard and I was hoping this would help but it is more focused on other topics. It also using a lot of terminology that I am not familiar with... that's why I bought the for dummies version! Other than that, it arrived on time and in perfect condition.

Book is full of information about gardening. I am a novice gardener. I will definitely purchase other books from this company.
