This lemon ginger tea from Bigelow contains probiotics and claims to support healthy digestion. The ingredients are: Lemongrass, lemon peel, cinnamon, natural ginger, lemon flavors with other natural flavors (soy lecithin), lemon verbena, rose hips, ginger, licorice root, GanedenBC30 (bacillus coagulans GBI-30, 6086) - a copyrighted probiotic.I am not sure how probiotics work with boiled water, but Bigelow states that this probiotic is "an innovation that helps maintain a healthy balance in your digestive tract when used as part of a healthy diet".I first found this tea at Family Dollar in Maine. This is interesting in that Family Dollar only had maybe two tea options and this was the only herbal tea.I've now gotten used to having this tea everyday and although it is not very lemony, it has a rich, smooth taste especially with a little sugar (I use demerara cane sugar) added. This tea has good "mouth feel" if that makes any sense - almost a creamy texture.I just ordered this on Amazon, so now I can write a review. For some reason, Bigelow tea seems to have a number of questionable reviews. I even saw some on another site. I can honestly state that this is a real, unbiased review.If you want a real lemony flavor, go for Bigelow's I Love Lemon herbal tea. I came upon this tea by chance and now I am enjoying having some everyday. I am giving the product 4 stars out of 5 stars because I think that calling this a lemon ginger tea is misleading. It does not taste like other lemon ginger teas that I've tried. The flavors of lemon and ginger are intermingled with other flavors to create a taste unique to this tea and quite honestly, it may not be everyone's "cup of tea". It is fairly gentle on the stomach and definitely does not feel acidic too citrus-y or harsh.Happy Sipping!
