Abbott & Costello, + Andrew Sisters in WW2 Comedy Hits!
Nice collection of vintage WW2 era relics including the Andrew Sisters, Abbott & Costello and Shemp Howard. Abbott & Costello made it into the Army & the Navy in 2 separate features! These were "shorts" that were run between the features in those days-- a ticket to the movies included 2 features, a few cartoons, shorts: 2 revelers comedies or travel narratives, a newsreel or 2, and sometimes a floor show!

super
This is an amazing value for some great films that reflect turbulent times. Hail The Conquering Hero is worth it alone. I look at these war movies loaded with patriotism and wonder what happened to our country when the wrong kind of flags are being waved other than the Red, White and Blue!

Good movies, good price
I have not watched all of these yet, but I have enjoyed them so far. The movie quality is good. I especially liked "Hail the Conquering Hero." Some of these movies are lighthearted and just fun to watch. Others are still humorous but with deeper meaning and purpose. They are good, quality family entertainment just right for any age.
