I purchased this Cosori carafe so that I could get my family away from the plastics of regular coffee makers. This item, like other Cosori products I've purchased, is very high quality and does its job well. I believe it to be good value for the price. The dual screen filter is great, but I prefer to use a paper filter as well. With the paper filter, the brewing time takes over 10 minutes for a full pot (not including the water boiling time) - which makes the coffee cold by the time we drink it. Sadly, that's just too long for my family to wait. I imagine with coarsely ground coffee directly into the metal filter would be more how this is designed but we go for ease of use and grinding beans isn't for us. Still though, if you're in the market to make your life healthier, I would highly recommend this product.

This is also an awesome product. If you wanna save money on buying coffee filters, you can definitely get this. It works just the same.

My first time using this I noticed some big differences from my cheap pot. It is a heavy glasses and wood for the heat protector. Also, the filter is faster than my cheap pot. I grind my beans every morning and ground the same amount. I will actually need less as my coffee was a bit strong. I am impressed with the first use.

You should know that 1 of the fewest pleasures in life is a good cup of coffee and I take it seriously.Clean unadulterated coffee is awesome.I use distilled water, stainless steel tea pot and organic coffee. Topped off in a stainless steel cup😁Possibly one of the best tasting coffee l have every morning.Awesome product. Wished I had discovered years ago.One thing might improve upon a superb product.Measurements on glass.Would elimate measuring out the water in a glass cup to make the perfect cup.Would allow you to know when water coffee ratio is perfect for you.Although the glass measuring cup is handy. I find the strainer fits perfectly on top to drip in while cooling.Someone knew to make glass perfect with strainer to sit on a 2 cup glass measuring cup😁Would never allow my coffee to touch plastic or ceramic

The process of making coffee is definitely different than an automatic drip machine, more mindful. Though it is more hands on than automatic methods, it doesn’t take any longer, and the apparatus itself is much more durable, no plastic!The tapered filter support top of the flask gives a wide pour ‘spout’ so the pour can be wide enough that it isn’t always a drip free endeavor, not really ideal for pouring into anything with a smaller diameter than a coffee mug. It has the capacity for more coffee than I drink on an average day, which is nice, I can make enough for a guest and myself in one go.The metal filter makes for easy cleaning and no disposal other than the coffee grounds, which have use alternatives other than general garbage. The only drawback to this approach to coffee is that I don’t use all of the ‘pot’ of coffee at once and it doesn’t keep the coffee warm, I have a ‘warm’ zone on my kitchen range, which solves that issue though.Combined with the glass kettle (made by Cosori as well) my coffee doesn’t come in contact with plastic or any metal other than stainless steel, which is a definite plus for me!

This has been a game changer for pour overs. $30 is nothing for this level of quality. I don't understand how this works, and I know this makes no sense, but I swear coffee tastes better when it's been poured from this glass beaker. Every coffee aficionado should have one of these in their collection.

Great quality, good style. Helpful to have a bottle brush to clean the inside.
