I purchased this single hob and I must say I am quite disappointed with its performance. It takes forever to heat up and I find it to be a complete waste of time. I have decided to return it and invest in an induction hob instead. Hopefully, that will be a better option for me.

I bought this when my cooker was out of action.It does the job. Doesn't get as hot as a hob on its highest setting, but I used it successfully for a couple of weeks. It might struggle in very cold weather. The only flaw is that the rubber feet have a tendency to skid around so make sure you place it on as surface where it won't move. It was skidding about on my halogen hob surface & a formica counter. I had some old tiles I used the rough side of & that helped. Otherwise for price etc, I'd give it 5 stars.

Bought this while I had no kitchen.Fantastic little stove. Lightweight, not clumbersome super simple to use. Best thing is it's small enough to put away in a drawer after use.Still good after years of ownership.

Due to disability I can't stand at the cooker and I bought this in the hope of using it on a table top. It's a decent hot plate but it does not get hot enough to fry. Also the thermastat constantly kicks in, a safety feature i'm sure but it slows down the cooking time.I'd say it's fine if you just require a hot plate but not a cooker.
