Q: will this digital version work on an android device and if so is there an app for it?

Q: Can this be used to connect my mixer (xr18 or 1202) to my android? what output should i use - monitor, line, main? thank you!

You have several options. I created a bus and used that channel do feed a live video. This allowed me to monitor the main mix on the mixer and control the feed into the Irig through the bus. Or you can connect to the monitor or the headphone Jack. Because of the XLR on this model, you may have get an adapter on some configurations. Good luck and have fun. You can find lots of adapters in Amazon. I tried many until I found the set up I wanted.

Q: Constant Beeping noise - how to fix this? Appearing in recordings and very annoying.

I used to have a problem with beeping when I would set my cell phone on my vantage tube amplifier. Every so often the network sends out a radio signal that would interfere with the electronics in the amplifier causing it to beep. I never put my cell phone there again.
