When I was growing up, my mom and dad routinely used SOS pads for cleaning glass pans, stainless steel everything and dishes with stuck-on food before putting the dishes in the dishwasher. I followed in the same footsteps, but "regular" SOS pads never got the inside of my stainless steel coffee mugs sparkling clean, meaning "as new".I drink more tea than coffee and searched high and low for a cleaner to clean the inside of my stainless steel coffee mug without much effort. I have used various coffee pot cleaners, OxyClean liquid, various strong and gentle soaps, and regular SOS pads. I had not previously heard of THIS product ("soap pads"), which I now know are different from the standard SOS pads we have been buying for years.When this product arrived a few days ago, I used one on the inside of my stainless steel coffee cup with hot water (but not too hot), and the inside was as shiny as when new. I will be trying it product on other items. In the meantime, I highly recommend it and would buy it again.
