It goes on smoothly and looks good but after 2+ hours it starts to come off, without rubbing, just from swimming so not super water proof but decent for a short swim

Love this eyeliner!!!I used to use the Maybelline Ultra Liner waterproof liquid eyeliner for decades... and they just discontinued it... so you can imagine me entering panic mode!I use makeup every day and I need it to be long lasting as I do not re-apply my eye makeup during the day. Also I need it to be waterproof because I have teary eyes from allergies and after my eye surgery... and who likes to have raccoon eyes!I am extremely surprised with this elf eyeliner... it met all of my expectations and it may be my new go-to!I have no complaints! Strong on wear yet super easy to remove (the ultra liner from Maybelline was not smooth on removing).

So this is the fourth time buying this eyeliner, I love it (clearly) enough to buy it 4 times because it’s dark, matte and goes on really nicely. I like the way it looks a lot, I do a lot of wings and I love how they look. The downside is the caps on these things are absolute trash and garbage. The first pen I had dried out in my makeup bag because the top fell off and I didn’t think anything of it I was just like “bummer, oh well they’re so cheap I’ll get a new one” now it’s the fourth pen I’ve had and I can easily say these caps are GARRRRBAGGGGE. I legit put the cap on yesterday when I did my eyeliner and I heard it click and snap so I know it closed, 2 minutes later I hear this little popping noise. THE CAP JUST POPPED OFF BY ITSELF LIKE WHAT?! It was by the sink when the cap popped off and it fell down the drain so that’s my last time buying this pen I think. Some kind of crazy default in their pen caps I was honestly pissed off this time now because it’s a waste of a pen and they’re drying out way too fast. Other than that I’ve literally loved the formula, it’s great and super water proof like when it gets on my hand or finger it takes me a minute to scrub it off. The color and wear are really good for a $6 eyeliner , just not good packaging at all. Hope this helps someone!!
