We’re all different and IT IS OKAY!
So I bought this book for my daughter because she is special needs BUT as I was reading it to her and my son this afternoon, I realized that this book isn’t only for special needs, it’s not only for just children, this book is for EVERYONE! Y’all please go get y’all a copy! Read it to your kids, grandkids, nieces, nephews, whoever! It’s a really good book. We ALL are different and IT IS OKAY! When my son throws his tantrums (he’s 3) or gets upset (for example today I was dressing him and two pairs of his shorts which is his size (2t) they both were way too big, well he cried because I guess he thought “well mom is dressing me to go bye bye and now I’m not dressed she’s going to leave me” well I brought in a pair that fit him and put it on him and tell him it’s okay, he’s okay and he goes “it’s okay” we usually say that or count or say our abcs to calm us down. All I’m saying is we all are different. Baby, child, teen, adult, elderly and IT IS OKAY! Don’t be afraid to be different and stand out. Goodnight! ♥️

Beautiful message!
As a mom with a special needs child, this book brought tears to my eyes. It's a cute and quick read to hold a little one's attention and is direct and to the point. To be kind to everyone and remember we are all different. The illustrations are a little silly and the grammar of the word 'nother irked me a little as a teacher, but the intended audience isn't going to notice any of that. We bought a copy to donate to my son's preschool classroom. Highly recommend

Great Book!
Enjoyed this book a lot and my daughter did too. It does teach kids to be nicer to different people since we are all different in many ways, and that is completely okay. Great book!

Great message
I love the message of this book, but the illustrations are not very sofisticated and my Grandson was not interested in reading it. 😢

Starts planting the seed
I like how this book kind of begins to plant the seed about diversity and inclusion. While my child is only 14 months old, I wanted to begin to teach her that just because other people might be different than she is doesn’t mean that she should be anything other than accepting and kind towards them!

It's OK to be different
The book focuses on how all kids are different and if you think someone is different from you, they probably have noticed that you are different from them, too. Acceptance is promoted in a lighthearted way. Different skin colour and different physical abilities are mentioned. Other differences focus more on what kids like to do or learn.

Nice Teaching book.
This book is well illustrated. It is also written for toddlers and young children so differences are okay. It prepares them for socializing with people who are different in a simple colorful way.
