I'm making WAFFLES
Took it out the box and made a few to test. Heats up quick but takes a little longer to cook depending on the batter. I would recommend keeping it in at least 2 to 3 min extra for a firmer waffle bowl. This was a random purchase and comes with some extra waffle recipes people can try. Good quality and seems to do the trick in making Belgian Waffle.

Like a standard waffle maker
Like a standard waffle maker, the Presto Super Waffle Bowl features heated top and bottom sections that are connected by a hinge. But, it also boasts a unique concave shape that allows you to create thick and fluffy four-inch ‘bowls,’ which can be filled with just about anything, including eggs, bacon, syrup and butter, ice cream, or fruit.According to the website, all you have to do is allow the machine to preheat, pour in the batter of your choice (no special batter required), close the lid, and then allow it to bake. Then, when the time comes, its nonstick grids help ensure everything’s easy to remove. If you’re not in the mood for waffles, the Presto Bowl also works with a variety of other foods and ingredients, such as brownie batter, cinnamon roll dough, pizza dough, rice, and bacon—you can even make quesadillas. You have to admit that this concept seems appealing, and if it works exactly as described, that the device could live up to its promises of being easy to use, while making breakfast and other meals more exciting.A Quick Note About Presto Super Waffle Bowl’s ManufacturerIn business for more than three decades, Telebrands is far and away the largest As Seen on TV company in the industry, with hundreds of products to their name. Recent examples include California Charcoal, Pocket Hose Brass Bullet, Atomic Beam Glove, and Red Copper Pan.Telebrands held a D+ Better Business Bureau rating, based on more than 320 closed customer complaints, as of 2/16/18. Although a company rep responded with a resolution in each instance, common complaints appeared to revolve around lower product quality than expected, as well as less-than-stellar support experiences. My Bottom Line About the Presto Super Waffle BowlThe Presto Super waffle maker comes to us from a company with decades in business, who offers free S&H and who stands behind the product with a 30-day refund policy (although you’ll be responsible for return shipping charges if you’re dissatisfied with its performance). So, it seems you might not have much to lose by giving the product a try.On top of this, the identical 03500 model seemed to come with almost wholly positive online customer feedback, which could be a good indication you’ll experience much of the same if you choose to hand over your hard-earned money. However, based on what we learned while browsing online marketplaces like Google Shopping, Amazon, and Walmart.com during our research, it appears Telebrands (or more specifically, their Bulbhead division) sells the exact same product at exactly half the price.Even if you wanted to go directly through Presto, their branded version was available for just a few bucks more. So, if the price is your number one factor when purchasing, either of these might represent solid options. But if you're looking for the lowest cost option possible (although certainly much more labor-intensive than using a device like Presto), you can cook seven-inch batter circles in the oven for four to five minutes, remove, drape them over an inverted cup, and allow to cool before filling with the food of your choice and enjoying.

Waffle Bowls are Thicker Than Expected...
Finally used the item to make bowls for an upcoming birthday party for use as a ice cream sundaes. The waffle maker was easy to use and clean, but I expected the bowls to be a lot thinner. I used the Krusteaz waffle cone mix, which I purchased at the same time, and thinned out the liquid in an attempt to see if this would change the consistency. I stayed within the fill line so the batter would not spill out, although some bowls are taller than others. Also, it took longer to cook the waffles (about 7 to 8 minutes), which was lot longer than I expected, to ensure that the batter cooked through to the bottom. I have dipped the bowls in chocolate, and hope my guests enjoy them. I included a couple of pictures of the top side of the bowl and bottom side.Presto should have an adjustment mechanism added to this waffle maker to determine thinness. I'll use for breakfast on my next go around, and will continue to use until another product comes along that makes a thinner product.

Substantial waffle cups
I was surprised how fast the waffle bowl maker cooks. It only took about 3+- min to cook each cornbread waffle cup. It takes a little practice to know how much to fill the machine. The waffle cup on the left was the first try, filled to the fill line, and it is a bit small. The next ones were perfect. On some was a little spillage, but the outside of the maker cleaned up well with a damp sponge, as long as the batter is still wet. The waffle cups came right out of the maker, with no sticking at all. I added no oil or cooking spray to the machine. These cups were done from a cornbread mix, so it may have contained baking powder and it rose in the machine. Farther experimenting, with different mixes, is needed. The bottom and lower sides cooked faster than the top part, but not fast enough to burn, while the top is still raw.The waffle cups this machine makes are very substantial, not thin and brittle, think Belgian waffle vs thin waffle. They hold about a cup of filling, maybe a bit more. I draped the fresh and still pliable waffle bowls over a glass, to make sure the bottom is flat and the cup doesn’t tilt when it cools, so it can be filled evenly and doesn’t tip to the side, spilling the filling. So far I’m happy with my purchase, if anything comes up, I’ll update.
