Outstanding Product Support
A bit over a year ago I purchased this attachment to facilitate my making of blueberry and blackberry jams. The attachment did a great job on both berries, but a couple months ago I tried to force too many blackberries through after the conical screen had become clogged with blackberry seeds. The result was that the screen split.I contacted the manufacturer in order to purchase a replacement screen (the one-year warranty had expired). The manufacturer sent me a free replacement screen, but the shipper, DHL, wanted me to pay a Trump import tariff of $45 plus fees, for a total of $72. I told the manufacturer that I was not willing to pay that much for the replacement part and that I was refusing the shipment. The manufacturer wrote me back that they would correct the situation and ship me a replacement screen free of any duties or fees. The replacement screen arrived, free of any charges, two days ago and my juicer attachment is now good as new. See picture of broken and free replacement screens. My advice to users of this great attachment is to periodically remove and clean the conical screen if the fruit you are processing contains seeds that can clog the holes in the screen. This is not necessary for tiny seeds like those in blueberries, but definitely necessary for larger seeds like those in blackberries.

Messy
Before I start, I have used this exclusively for tomatoes. There are a couple of issues I have with this.1. You have to cut the tomatoes up into small sizes, no bigger than 2” and it cannot do whole tomatoes, such as romas or cherry unless you cut them in half, otherwise it can’t grip them.2. Using the crusher, pusher doesn’t help and strains the motor. If you do use it, it must be done slowly.3. It does work but if you want to truly get the seeds and skin out you need to put them through twice.4. It’s messy. I mean really messy. If you put too many pieces in the top, the grinder can’t keep up and the excess will go out towards the mixer. The acid in the tomatoes will react with the metal leaving the mixer with a black residue that doesn’t easily clean up.I suggest using this only for meaty, paste tomatoes and not slicers. The sauce is indeed thin, there will be no chunkiness in it, so if you want any kind of chunks, this is not for you. I will use it again but it won’t be used exclusively for my sauces.

Amazing product and customer service
This amazing kitchen gadget made making tomato juice, apple, and pear sauce a BREEZE!! Made apple and pear sauce with any friends and their kids, and the kids loved to help press the cooked apples and pears down to watch the sauce come out one end and "the guts" come out the other end. Even my 3-year old got in on the action, for both tomatoes and apples! So effortless!Unfortunately, one of my parts broke. Since I bought it last summer, and it broke 11 months and 2 weeks later (just shy of a year), the company replaced that part, no hassles at all. They responded to my messages so quickly, followed up on shipment, and even checked in after the part arrived, just to make sure everything was going well. Such a great company to work with. I HIGHLY recommend this product to friends and reviews such as yourself!

-1 Star: Don't waste your money and ruin your Kitchen Aid!
DON'T IGNORE ALL THE 1-STAR REVIEWS: I did, and I'm sad. The Kitchen Tree is cheap and has a bad design. The attachment back fed tomato juice into our Kitchen Aid. We have never had a problem with our Kitchen Aid before using this product. With the first 3lbs of tomatoes, the back-fed juice mixed with Kitchen Aid driver grease and poured into our sauce. We dumped it out. We used the provided wrench, but it cannot tighten enough to overcome the plastic washer on the drive shaft which is supposed to be a seal but doesn't work. We put another bowl to catch the grease juice and moved the tomato sauce bowl forward. That seemed to work, but the auger and screen kept becoming jammed. After the second time of taking it apart and cleaning it out, we gave up on the attachment. It took us 5 hours to sauce 50 lbs of tomatoes with the attachment. We drove to a local store and purchased a stand-alone electric tomato saucer. The remaining 50 lbs of tomatoes only took us 30 minutes -that included unpacking, washing, reading the instructions, and setting it up. Unfortunately, I purchased this attachment back in September but didn't have time to deal with the tomatoes until today, so I cannot return it. (I froze the tomatoes quartered on cookie sheets, bagged them after they were frozen, and then completely thawed them out before using the attachment, so they were even softer than freshly picked tomatoes.) BUYER BEWARE! Don't get ripped off as we did with this knock-off.

Far Exceeds My Expectations.
I ordered this strainer b/c I was not looking forward to manually running countless tomatoes and 3 bushels of apples through a manual cone food mill. I didn't think the extraction would be as good and the old fashioned method and it wasn't, but it is darn close! Close enough that I don't care about the very small amount of waste. The process was faster than the manual method. It was less messy, though pushing some of the fruit through could cause some messy juice squirts! The clean up was surprisingly easy. The brush they provide makes quick work of cleaning out the cone screen. My only complaint is that I very much wish the hopper "stage" was larger (much larger) so you could load it up and then focus on feeding the input tube. Perhaps a larger capacity feeding tube would be nice so I the whole process would go faster.
