Although I cannot attest to its effectiveness as a fan and motor heatsink, I really like the way it finishes off my Traxxas Rally to Baja Bug conversion.

I so wanted to give this a 5 but its not perfect. Shipping and what not was perfectly fine. Product is freaking awesome but.... no instructions. it's easy enough to figure out but i build stuff all the time so take that for what it's worth. You have to figure out what screws go where. But at the end of the day with a little paint it looks awesome.For my RedCat Gen 8 i had to cut the exhaust pipes to get it to fit but the motor is in a pretty much perfect location for this application.I have a TRX4 as well and did notice i would have to get the gearbox to relocate the motor to the proper location under the hood.All in all this motor for the price is hard to beat and it comes with two fans as well to install within the scale motor.Update. Picked up my 2nd one for a drag slash build. Added an RPM supercharger on the top end for the muscle car effect. They go together with a little bit of work.

its great scale item but don't expect the fans to work once they get wet the died almost immediately but that's not that big of a deal for me. it was more for scale part.

I really like this simulated engine cover for R/C vehicles. It’s metal, it screws together, everything g fits perfect, it comes with a fan that mounts under the intake so it’s nicely hidden.***PRO TIP - before you check out, add a tiny/micro Phillips screw driver to your cart.

Looks cool can be tedious to assemble and the exhaust hits the frame rail on the drivers side causing it not to sit properly

nice, shiny details! add some spice to your ride. only 4 stars because the exhaust mount would sit right due to the molding so i have to cut some of the metal part. both fans dont work so dont expect much!
