UH-MAZING.
These are the most amazing sounding IEMs I've ever worked with. Excellent low end, clean high end, and clear mids. Extremely well balanced in ear mix comparable to $1000 IEMs. If you already have $500-1000 IEMs, these make amazing backups.

Unbelievable in-ear monitor for musicians for $50!!! BUY IT.
This review is for the CCA C12. I'm a recording engineer/producer/musician and had used the Shure S215 for the longest time. I feel so stupid to have done that when I can get something like this for $50. Recently, someone from an IEM company contacted me and wanted me to try their $2800 in ears. Which I must say was very good. But I needed to know if I could get away with not needing to spend that much and see if I could find something comparable for under $100. So I bought like a dozen different kinds of KZ and CCA under $100 and this came up on top. I did several tests:Listening test : Frequency balance (not exaggerated bass or treble), not shrill or harsh sounding, and accurate to the mix, solid representation of my mixing intentions.Monitoring test : How it sounds when I'm recording piano and guitars when using it. This is AMAZING. Very few IEMS pass the test of both piano and guitar accuracy. If the IEM is bright, then the piano would sound too harsh and piercing, if the IEM is on the softer warmer side, the tendency is that the electric guitar would lose its punch and attack. This CC12 nails it in the head and somehow balances both! Very rare. I've tested about a dozen different CCA and KZ IEMS and this is one of few out of the bunch that does it well.Great separation, you can feel the emotion of the song and its not sterile sounding, the bass is very present but not exaggerated, its not bright and doesn't kill your ears, it has a wide sound stage, its a comfortable fit.I can't highly recommend this enough. Bottom line, you don't need to spend $2800 on a 5 driver IEM to get good sound. This is equally as good if not, better. If you're a musician and are looking for a good IEM. Look no further. All the best!

Listen for a few hours before you judge the sound quality!
When I first received these IEM's, I was comparing them to my KZ ZST X. I loved my ZST X's and still do. However after listening to my cca C12's for a few minutes, I was overwhelmed with detail and I was a bit off put. However having spend $50 on headphones, which is a lot for me personally, I kept listening and tried more and more songs, and I found that after about an hour, I was acclimated to the pristine details and after I got used to my favorite songs in excruciating detail, and got a feel for the basics that we can hear in our regular headphones, I started hearing things I've never heard before, in songs I've listened to hundreds of times before. This felt very personal and intimate. It brings you right into the studio with your favorite musicians, or the venue of your favorite live performances. It is at this time, if you've got this far in my review, I'd imagine you're engaged and interested now, if you fancy yourself a beginner "audiophile" for which I'm no means a professional, you should invest in a separate DAC and headphone amplifier;I run my laptop/pc/phone to a Topping D10s (amazing piece of equipment by the way) and my D10s to a Topping L30 headphone amplifier. This is my current setup, and my best experience with music listening. It's worth mentioning, I pay for Amazon Music HD, capable of up to 192Khz playback. So to finish up, even running from my iPhone with a lighting to 3.5mm dongle, these headphones are incredible.I also own a Fiio A3 portable headphone amplifier that you could use to power your C12's a bit. If you want a cheap DAC, get a USB 192Khz DAC for under $20 and you're good to go.

How much did I pay for these again??
These... are sick!! I'm an experienced drummer and I've paid hundreds more for in-ears that don't perform any better these. I agree with some other users that they are a bit on the bright side out of the box, but they've mellowed out quite a bit over a few weeks. Two things I want to highlight as my favorite things about them despite the sound quality:1. The fit and sound dampening. There are a few here that speak to these not being highly sound isolating out of the box, which is true but for a live performance, I want a little bit of ambient sound... just a little. I run these through a Behringer Powerplay P16-M 16-Channel Digital Personal Mixer from the board so I do have a lot of control over what comes in, but I found the stock ear pads to be perfect for my scenario. I tried more isolating foam pads, but they bothers my ear canals and choked off too much sound. As to the fit... I forget they're even there... I appreciate that quite a bit.2. Quality of construction. These look great, feel great, the cord feels sturdy and strong, and they form perfectly and subtly around the backside of the ear. I was very surprised at how pro these look and feel.A couple of cons: I wish the cord was about a foot or two longer. When I plug straight in to the Behringer without an extension, I have to be very strategic about where I place the mixer so my elbow doesn't get caught up in the cord while I'm playing. Also, this desperately needs to come with a case. I know it would probably drive the price up, but even if the box were conducive to being a carrying case, I'd be cool with that. BUT, the box is just a box, so it would be cool to have something to put this in since I actually like them and want to keep them in good shape.I hope this helps. If you're looking for some solid, maybe even amazing for the price, in-ear monitors, I think you've found your huckleberry.
