Metra 99-7875T Single/Double DIN Installation Kit for 2008-2009 Honda Accord Vehicles with Dual Zone Climate Control, Taupe

I decided to go the route of Metra instead of Scosche for my 2008 Accord EXL-V6 sedan. The kit looks nice, even with a single DIN radio (see picture), but I'm sure it would look much better with a double DIN unit. Installation was a breeze, only took a few minutes to swap out the vents and controls from the factory panel. I was confused as to the color I needed for my beige interior Accord, but the "Earth Taupe" version is correct and looks VERY close to factory. Only negative is one of the lower tabs was broken from my kit during shipping, but it does not affect the fitment. Highly recommended, glad I chose this one over the Scosche. Go with the Metra 99-7875T (Taupe) for beige interior Accords.Just as a note, when you install an aftermarket stereo in the 2008-9 Accords, you'll loose your clock and radio display on the upper screen. The factory radio has several additional connections for this screen as well as the steering wheel controls. I don't use my steering wheel controls, so I did not worry about getting the kit to integrate these controls. I must say, I do miss the clock and have no idea why Honda integrated it into the factory radio...bad design if you ask me. As you can see by the picture, I installed my Pioneer DEH-80PRS SQ head unit. Be careful with this kit and flip face radios as the face will not go down far enough to allow a CD in the slot (needs some modification). I very rarely listen to CD's, usually WAV files via USB or Bluetooth, so not a big deal to me. I hope this review was helpful to someone.

I used this in my 2008 Honda Accord. It matches the original color well and looks stock. I didn't give it 5 stars because of 3 minor issues:1. The fit for the automatic heating and cooling controls was a bit too tight, so the temperature adjustment switch sometimes sticks. I fixed this be shaving a small amount of plastic with a razor blade.2. I installed a double DIN radio. The brackets that came with the faceplate don't snap in tight and I was concerned they could come out while the radio was mounted. I ended up adding a couple of drops of superglue to secure them permanently. The radio is now held in place very well.3. The plastic at the top center of the faceplate is slightly warped and bows out a bit and isn't flush to the rest of the dash. It isn't super noticeable, but it isn't a perfect fit in this one spot.I was able to correct the first two issues with just some minor work, but the fit issue is still present. It wasn't bad enough to worry, but it is noticeable if you look closely.

Ordered this dash kit a week ago and installed it. Fits perfectly in the dash. Have no gaps and all the climate control buttons work as they did with the factory cd player. The color doesn't exactly match the rest of the black trim in the car, but it's close by shade reference. Makes my Pioneer 8500bhs look even better in the dash. Would purchase again if I needed another deck in the future. This isn't my first aftermarket dash kit and I highly doubt that it will be my last.
