Great for learning a new language
I think this book is great. I'm a adult and want to learn a few sign language words. This is great for people just beginning and want to learn a new language. The words are simple especially since it's supposed to be for kids learning but that's okay it makes it easier to learn

Excellent for young and old!
Purchased this book for my toddler to begin learning sign language and it was so helpful that several adults in my family ended up using it as well. The illustrations are clear and helpful and the words chosen are common and useful. Highly recommend for someone of any age to learn basic signs.

A great starting point.
This was a very informative book concerning Deaf culture and the use of ASL for neurodivergent children with an ASD diagnosis. It was a great beginner resource that offered many creative and easy practice activities. I enjoyed the written descriptions and helpful tips for remembering grammar and structure. My only issue was the images. I'm so grateful that so many were included, but some of them were confusing and didn't seem to match with the descriptions, but that could simply be a reader error. Despite this concern, I would still recommend this to families wanting to start an ASL journey.Highly recommended to anyone wanting to start learning ASL by themselves or with their family.

My son is autistic and likes to speak in sign language. This is a very helpful book for our kids and parents who are trying to speak to their children in sign language. It's is a book I would highly recommend, for starters

Parent to child who uses ASL - we are all learning. Perfect for our family!
The pictures make it easy to understand and the information included is really awesome. Our little family is all neurodivergent and our little one has some speech struggles. She is really quick with sign language (2.5 yr old) so we have all taken to learning ASL so we can all gain clarity when we communicate day to day. This book is exactly what I was hoping for.

Great book to learn sign language
I recently took ASL classes at my library. I bought this book and even though it is geared for kids, it is perfect for me, an adult, as a beginner. Excellent pictures and explanations. Very happy with it. Great quality and price !
