Awesome Update to S Bracket
Update 8/23:I’ve had these for a while now and have replaced my original S brackets with the purchase of two more. They are solidly made compared to the original and definitely hold up.—————————————As you can see from the attached photo, I used the S bracket with my AD200s for rim lighting. This is good, but I feel like the fresnel head was not lighting well, as most of the light goes to the sides. With the S2, the lighting will now be able to go vertical by being able to turn the AD200 in the bracket. The other updates I like is it feels more solid over the original S. The "click" is gone from the main handle as well.

Much smoother and sturdier than previous models
This is the only bracket I could find that accepts the Flashpoint/Godox AD300Pro.The swivel is metallic and much smoother than other brackets that are made of plastic and that had ratchets when adjust your light up or down. This model has a similar (yet larger) swivel mechanisms as you find on the AD200Pro, AD300Pro or AD400Pro strobes, and will receive Bowens modifiers.

I like the concept but there is a significant flaw
I like to use an umbrella diffuser. The slot to insert the umbrella is extremely difficult to use. Out of the box, the spring inside of the hole is too tight to even insert the umbrella stem. The only way to adjust it is to use a hex wrench to remove the bracket and adjust the spring. If you over adjust, the spring is too. loose and the umbrella falls out. It is an exercise in frustration. They need to get rid of the spring and use a thumbscrew to hold the umbrella in place. Easy fix

First Impression: For it's intended purpose, a quality made and designed piece of equipment . . .
at an outstanding price.I've only just received this flash bracket and haven't used it yet, so I can't speak to it's durability or resilience from experience, therefore these are first impressions. However, as I've already implied, it looks and feels sturdy and a lot of quality for the price.

Verstatile... as much as the original S bracket
The original S bracket is a piece of heavy work, not the best, but I think it does the job perfectly... also offers cool perks like using 4 speedlites at the same time. The S2 Bracket also works nice, I dont feel like an over improvement, but actually more like a way to cover the necesity of a bracket for a round head. Im able to use every bowens mount modifier with my Godox V1, the only con, it does not work perfecfly with my stands.

Great value for your money!
Love that it will accept circular flashes construction seems more robust and better thought out than my previous other brands S-Type bracket. This is definitely a great value for your money. I’m tempted to get another one to replace my original one this one works so well. I feels like it’s built tough, but time will tell. The extras are a nice thought, but nothing to write about. Maybe something that could be used in a pinch, but that’s it.

GREAT BRACKET!
This is a perfect mount for my new Flashpoint XPLOR 100 strobe. Take out the bottom insert for a rounder mounting surface and it fits right in. I like that I can tuck my little strobe in a bit further when mounting it - makes me feel like the strobe isn't as vulnerable to damage in the case of a fall.Great bracket and I plan on getting another one as I add another XPLOR 100 to my kit.
