AP Products 024-3000 Mopeka Tank Check Bluetooth Gateway/WiFi Bridge

So far so good (3 months). I am monitoring my 500 gal LP tank in Michigan from Texas where we are staying for the winter. Was easy to install and connect but you need to have a good signal from the Mopeka pro check sensor. I used my Bluetooth on my smartphone to observe the signal and placed this wifi gateway at a place where both the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth signals were good. We now have some snow accumulating and it is still working perfectly.

This new device allowed me to keep track of my LP tanks in my trailer even when I am no where near them. I like this as I can get updates as to the status of the tank and to see if it needs to be changed or refilled. I don't have to be right next to it to see this. Great product!

I bought this product to pair with Mopeka 024-2002 Tank Pro Sensor and wish to know how much propane has left when I am out of town. The sensor works fine as long as you can connect it with bluetooth. But the Bridge just does not work at all. The number on my app always stays the one when I left home during my days out of town. Since I didn't keep the original package, I can not even return this faulty product. Waste of money!

Thought it would make my life so easy, even thought it was a great product initially..However .. the bridge only worked for 5 days, then would not connect to the cloud ( it says it’s connected to the router and internet) so clearly something with the cloud or the bridge built in software. I can see many have this problem with no solution from mopeks, it also seem to have sub standard power connectors as many have broken off for people.. so verdict is.. Mopeka support came up with a fix. Apparently the app logged me out from the cloud. There is no indication you are logged out. The system refused to accept my password so I reset it and it still refused. Reboot phone.. and this time it worked. So far so good

I almost returned this along with the tank monitor because I couldn’t get them to connect. Finally tried resetting the gateway, then resetting the tank monitor and they connected. The manufacturer/seller needs to have clearer directions on how to make the tank monitor and bridge connect. Otherwise it is a good product with no monitoring fee (with WIFI available).

I stay in my RV during the week on a construction site, the area I'm in is cold and the furnace runs on propane, during the week I can monitor the thermostat and turn off the furnace during the day when it's not needed. I installed the Mopeka tank sensor pro on the three propane tanks I have on my RV so I can keep and eye on them when I am not on site during the weekend, this give me piece of mind when I'm not on site. I did just purchase a wifi thermostat for it as well so I can control the furnace when I am not there, this should also help conserve propane, I will review the thermostat when I get it installed and us it for a bit.

It worked great after I figured out how to set it up the instructions could use a little work

I was able to read the tank levels using the app where I was in the same location as the tanks. However, now that I am out of town, I have not been able to read the tank level for weeks. The bridge was connected and the Internet and Cloud LED's are green.and The tanks are for a rental, and I wanted to monitor the levels while I was away. I have entered a ticket with Mopeka and they have not responded for 21 days. Bad product with no support. Make sure you keep your boxes so you can return them! UPDATE - Mopeka finally reached out to me and believe that I have a faulty bridge and is sending a new one. Will keep you up to date.
