Can nitrogen cartridges be used for beer in the ukeg?

Hi Andrew, You can use the cartridges for beer, but true nitro beer will not happen because that is dependent on beer gas. Beer gas is a combination of CO2 and N2 that we do not supply and is not readily available for purchase in small quantities like 8 and 16 grams. Cheers!

I have the 128 keg, will this n2o work with it it i put coffee inside? if not, what’s the difference between the ukeg and nitro keg?

Hello! You can use N2O cartridges in the uKeg instead of CO2 to dispense cold brew coffee not nitro cold brew. The uKeg only has a standard tap, so it will not offer the cascading, creamy pour that you'll get from the uKeg Nitro. In addition to having a different tap, the Nitro has a couple of filters in the vessel itself to prevent coffee grounds from plugging it. Cheers!
